What say my Juddd Buds?????

All the 4s fit and most of the 4Ps fit.
I said I'd call goal when I fit in all my clothes and I'm pretty much there.
The number is not quite what I thought I wanted to land at, but as we say...
The Pants Don't Lie (or in my case 4P Tahari Suits don't lie)!

So what do my Juddd buds say? Go to 117lb or just love wearing my 4Ps at about 126lb?

dawnyama 02-04-2013 04:41 PM

Oh, my. I thought with your pics you just posted....you are AT goal!! I say call it and stay there. You can see if anything more melts off, but you look smokin' hot and super fantastic already. And in a 4????!!!! WooHoo!!!!

Librarygirl 02-04-2013 04:44 PM

I think you look perfect right now!! I concur with Dawn, and say yes, call Goal!! 4P's!! Witwooooooooo!!!!

Becky 02-04-2013 04:49 PM

Stay where you are comfortable and can maintain with no issues. I'd love to get into 4's but havn't seen those (or my 2's) since the kids popped out.....18 years ago!

sunday 02-04-2013 04:51 PM

I agree! You are a 4 for goodness sakes!!! :high5:
Enjoy all of the clothes and especially your accomplishment! So happy for you!

calichris 02-04-2013 04:55 PM

Carly, I almost said on your "nearly goal" pictures post .... "You aren't at goal?" because you look like you're there! I say, you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to, but I wouldn't worry about a number so much as when it feels right, and only you know that. All I can tell you is that this weight looks great on you! :)

Shari4 02-04-2013 04:55 PM

I say you're perfect as you are!! But, only you can decide if that's where you want to be!! :hugs:

Babsbabs 02-04-2013 04:56 PM

I agree with Dawn! Thought your picture looked like a great after photo. It is your decision but you do look to be a great size now. Size 4 is tiny!:)

Carly 02-04-2013 05:01 PM

I know I can get so focused on a number and miss the bigger picture. I didn't dream that I was even close to zipping those 4s. My memory is either incorrect about what I weighted before getting heavy or JUDDD has changed my shape, because I was sure I was no heavier than 115lb, but we always say the pants don't lie! I'll sleep on it, but I'm leaning toward calling goal. All I really wanted was to fit in my clothes and I CAN!

dawnyama 02-04-2013 05:11 PM

Carly--when my uncle died it was put into perspective. I was struggling on my WOE and going on and off and on and off plan (kind of like now!) and when he passed very unexpectedly and suddenly (heart attack--went without a stitch of pain) I thought "no one is going to post what I weighed in the newspaper. They are going to say what kind of person I was." So I then started to think about the number on the scale as not the whole picture of where I want to be. If my skinny jeans fit at a higher scale number, then that is OK. Not everyone is going to know, or care what number it is!! But size 4s are tiny and you look tiny!!! Super fabulous in my book ;)

Librarygirl 02-04-2013 05:13 PM

For some reason I've always noticed that people who lose a lot of weight look smaller at a heavier weight than they did before they gained (and were at a higher weight). I don't know if that makes sense, lol.

svenskamae 02-04-2013 05:22 PM

I think you look absolutely wonderful just as you are. I'm about your height, and I start looking too thin if I go lower than your current weight. And you have a wardrobe of 4P (tiny!) that fits you now.

It isn't a decision that you have to make now and stick with forever. Let yourself stay where you are for a while and see how your body feels there. You can always decide to go lower later, but I can't see any reason why you should.

Our bodies build up muscle to carry around our heavy weight, and stronger bones to carry around our heavy weight. So someone who was over 200 pounds and then gets back down to 125 will have stronger, denser bones and muscles than someone who never strayed from a weight of 125. So, yes, that makes a LOT of sense--those bones and muscles are heavy, but they don't take up a lot of space or make us look heavy.

Well, gee, if you put it like that ;)
I'll buy it.

mom23kids 02-04-2013 05:35 PM

The pants definitley don't lie :) also, you'll probably lose a bit more as you transition into maintanance. I'd call goal :sing:

:goodpost:!!!!!! And Good News for all of us who aspire to follow in Carly's footsteps!:clap:

ETA: I meant to say in my original post "look smaller at a heavier weight than they did before they gained and were at a lower weight."

Cindy-lou 02-04-2013 05:58 PM

Carly you look completely amazing and a size 4 is also an amazing number :high5: Sounds like a good goal to me:up:

hot-in-texas 02-04-2013 06:14 PM

Yes, I say call goal. If I looked like you, I'd be dancing in the street! And again, if you change your mind, you could always go further later on. So happy for you!:)

KeirasMom 02-04-2013 06:43 PM

I think you're perfect as you are. Also remember, the next year your body will be reshaping and recovering from all the work you've put in getting where you are. I say call goal, see what happens to your body between now and next February, and reassess then. I bet you'll still be smokin' hot and tiny, but a bit happier with how you've recovered.

BTW, I called goal at size 12 (can get into some 10s) and am perfectly happy. You're a tiny little thing!

gotitnow 02-04-2013 08:04 PM

Carly...I feel the same as everyone else. You look fantastic.:clap: Call goal, and then down the road, if you feel the need to go lower, you are in control!!!

Now, we get to follow your maintenance with great interest and pleasure, sweetest "tiny" heart!:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Phyl:heart:

Yennie 02-04-2013 08:38 PM

I think you're lovely just how you are - your pictures are gorgeous! If you're happy with the fit & feel, who cares what the scale says!
Congratulations!!!

sungoddess 02-04-2013 09:16 PM

jaymar 02-04-2013 09:42 PM

Oh my goodness, Carly..you look absolutely wonderful...it looks like you didn't lose muscle...and the info about Juddd says you don't...I think that your woe was a perfect fit for you..you sure look like you're at goal, but like they say.you can always adjust it, if you want to..

Cindy,...I liked what sven said about the fact we have built up our bones and they're gonna be stronger when we get to goal...wow..that's really nice...I have
been telling myself all day....hey..I'm carrying around a refrigerator of extra weight..no wonder I'm tired...then I modified it...maybe it's only a room sized refrigerator...haha.:hyst: We are going to make it..we have so much help and support, and great role models.

sorenkkg 02-04-2013 10:11 PM
