ewwwwwwww, mushy peas!!!! That seems to be a staple in England, lol. All my brit friends seem to think that constitutes a fabulous meal. Yucko!

Carly, I will make you a toasted tomato and bacon sandwich that is to die for! You will lose your fear of raw tomatoes.

I'm practically in a panic thinking about it. To give you an idea, I was in a psych hospital for anorexia when I was 16 for 6 weeks. I never got off "restricted to the unit" or "RTU" status, because you had to eat 100% of your food for x days to earn hospital or grounds privileges. As soon as I got close my tray came with a wedge of tomato on the salad and back to square 1. I was indoors on a small unit for 6 weeks because I refused to eat the tomato and I would do it again...

They eventually had to discharge me because I gained up to where I had to be and did everything else I was required to do. I ended up working at that very hospital for 7 yrs in my late 20's early 30's and there were a few veterans who remembered to tomato fiasco.

Hi ladies! I'm definitely a newbie, having started JUDDD/Atkins Combo on January 30th. As a former HCGer I'm used to low calories, so I'm managing well. I will say though, I feel a little more "down" on DDs... maybe I'm just so used to a lot of food on Atkins.

I feel the SAME way. I've gotten used to eating them in probably 2 instances - caprese salad and tacos (they're usually pretty hidden in tacos) but if there's any seedy/slimy stuff, it makes me want to

Same thing with me! UGH! I refused to eat/drink animal products (totally vegan) and they would hold me down and force me to drink Ensure with a tube. I was NOT a happy camper, and I was on restriction constantly. :/

Tomatoes are beautiful things. I have no real complete food horrors, although I refuse to try chitterlings.

Memory, you will probably experience the "DD high" soon. It's amazing. I still don't look forward to DD's, although after a week of UD's recently I was ready for one. But, sometimes when I go for a long time without eating on DD's, I experience a feeling of euphoria and increased energy. Definitely a plus!

Thank you Kissa, I agree, that program was awesome. I will research his book. I have seen all of you on JUDDD and wondered how you did it, I think this is a good stepping stone for me. It gives me jiggle room to learn to adapt if I need it. I lose so slowly even being strict on Atkins, I'm hoping this helps. Thanks again!

Thanks H-I-T! I have 16.5 pounds to goal. I can see it just over the horizon, and I'm very excited. I opted out of another round of HCG for a variety of reasons, and my friend Natasha was telling me about JUDDD. I wanted to give it a try. I really like my LC WOE so I think putting them together will work for me.

I need to change my signature...maybe tomorrow if I have time.

LOL, Carly! My co-workers no longer bat an eye when I say, I won't be eating today. They know that I do eat, but it's minimal. I thought you might like the celery ticker.

My poor kids are confused I tell them it is an "eat what I want day today, but I cannot eat tomorrow" . They just look at me like I have followed so many plans, been off them and on them that they just don't have a clue anymore. But it is funny when I tell them if I can eat or not that day

Thanks Berta!

Dawn and Mary, are you planning on a complete fast on DDs? or are you going to do low calorie?

I am TRYING to LEARN to weigh once a week, because as I've read on this forum, the weight really bounces. I'm not used to that. I have to look at the overall picture. I will not weigh again until Monday and this week that's after an UD.

This may sound weird, but I really like the "skinny feeling" on DDs.

Have a great day all!

Jeanette--I am trying to get by with as little food as possible. I had 3 cups of coffee, this for lunch : http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...in-cookie.html and for dinner a small portion of chicken/broccoli. So I eat, but not a whole heck of a lot!! Trying to keep to those 500 calories, and if I can get less--even better!!

JUDDD actually works as an appetite suppressant for some(maybe even most), so hopefully you will be one of those! When I first started JUDDD I was debating whether or not to stay low carb, coming straight to JUDDD from atkins induction, but that went out the window the first day when I had ravioli.

You guys are all nuts
Peas are my favorite .....so pass them down
Tomatoes are pretty good too
BUT CELERY? ummmm NO Thanks! I would rather eat tree bark thanks

So today is Friday and my youngest DD and I go out and do our shopping every Friday....
Usually we go out for a lite lunch somewhere first...
So last night we are sitting in the hot tub and all of a sudden she looks at me in horror and says "OMG Tomorrow is DD for you"
I swear it was a look like it was my last day to eat EVER lol

I am not worried about it one bit...I had so much food yesterday that I will be good for a few days (all that I was allowed that is)

I'm pretty comfortable at the 500 cals on my down days, should I stick to that another month and see how that takes me? Or should I be dropping down to my DD that the calculator suggests?

I'm VERY nervous to only have 300-ish cals to work with on DD, the 500 is tough too, but I'm definitely accustomed to what I can and can't have, and am managing it pretty well on the 500.

Or, should I wait until I have ~10 days of good rotations and a stall on the scale to drop it down?
Allison, I decided to stay with 500 cals on my DD's because I was happy with my rate of weight loss. I figured why risk burning out if what I was doing was working just fine. I made it all the way to goal eating 500-600 calories on most DD's. I did have maybe 3-4 DD's in the 400 cal range just because I was less hungry those particular days. I say if it isn't broke don't fix it.

I do think sticking to my rotations strickly helped me make it goal so I'd definately try to aim for that.

I was quite shocked when I woke up today and did NOT want breakfast. I know this happens pretty frequently on JUDDD, but not usually to ME LOL. I totally thought that eating so little yesterday would have me ready to eat this morning, but noooo!!! So glad to see that it happened for me.

I am finding since HCG I am not nearly as hungry and I am in the habit now of not eating until 2-3:00 so my DD are a piece of cake.
I am also not getting in all my UD calories as I am eating all I want. But it just doesn't add up to all those calories. I did eat all of them the first day (Almost all) but not since then.I am really enjoying this plan thus far!!
I feel I have found my lifetime plan FINALLY And I LOVE the no guilt feeling

I am having a shake today too for lunch. I had an in between day yesterday and will every week because I need a set schedule for my lifestyle!Plus we go out every Sunday after Church and Friday nights are game nights and dinner with friends!!!Tonight it is here at our home.So Ineed to get busy.

Hope all my Judd Buds have a WONDERFUL week-end!

I am speachless! I had a DD yesterday and all I thought about was the UD. Sad I know. Today I have to force myself to eat. Had breafask, now soup for lunch. I am amazed, no cravings, I know the food is there, but I really don't want any. I love this way of eating, just need to get my DD in order.
