Best Resveratrol??

Ok, we have a local health food/natural store in town, and that is where I got my last bottle of Resveratrol. It contains:

Resveratrol (200mg of Polygonum cuspidatum root extract standardized to 50% [100 mg] trans-resvertrol) (whatever that means..lol)

Leucoselect -Grape seed extract 10mg

I have been looking at Dr. Johnson's eResveratrol, and it seems like it would be better, but I can't see the nutritional label, and it is MUCH more expensive and almost $8 shipping (for one bottle..ouch)....

SO, I was wondering what brands you take and what your thoughts are...
Is there one that is better than the other? Is there one that you think has helped you more than another?

This is why I love this board so much! I know I can count on all your honest opinions and thoughts! TIA JBs! :hugs:

Mine is called "Resvitale" and it's 500 mg. It says on the front of the bottle that it's organic.

I have not been very good about taking it until Thursday of this week. I took one each afternoon Thurs and Fri and I think it really helped me.

I take Natrol Resveratrol Diet. I get it from netrition. It's cheap, but it does have some caffiene and other things. I take the Jarrow pterostilbene.

If you would like to save money, just take ptero. It basically is doing the Sirt-1 activation simultaneous to JUDDD and the benefits are even better than resv. I found ptero at my health food store for $10. I know that Jarrow is good but cost a bit more. :)

I have nothing against Resveratrol by the way, I just felt like it wasn't necessary once I discovered ptero.

I tried Ptero at the beginning of JUDDD, and had to quit taking it because of the headaches, and the "all around" feeling it was giving me. I tried taking it agian today, and what do you know....no headache and odd feeling, so I don't know if something has changed in my body or what, but I pleasantly surprised!

Jenn, It may have been that it takes a bit to build up, but the health benefits with ptero and anti-aging are very nice. I remember one day I accidentally took 2 in the morning and I had what felt like a tension headache above my eyes. I assumed that I got too much at one time. Hopefully, it won't cause you any more issues. :hugs:

I like the ptero I found at Walgreens...it seems to help, especially after eating a small meal, although I take it before eating sometimes too. Seems like I'm more satisfied after eating on DD and not still hungry. Plus the grape flavor is nice. :)
