So excited kitchen nightmares is on right now. It was filmed 10 mins from my town. Hehe I remember when they were filming I went to beaver to keep a look at a chance to see Gordon Ramsey! Lol!

But let me ask you all, have you all ever heard of or had stuffed hot peppers? Ramsey made it seem like a Pittsburgh thing......we eat them all the time here.

You are super close and I'm sure you look amazing 112 at 5'4" is incredible! I would love to get to 112, but I don't think this body can ever get back there especially because of the extra skin

I grew up eating stuffed bell peppers. I have eaten stuffed jalopenas many times, and it's not uncommon at all. In fact, a DD friendly food is stuffed jalopenos with laughing cow cheese.

Wow this is a busy thread!

Just had to share - I made it til 1pm today w/o eating! I had tea for breakfast then water and lots of sf gum. Lunch was half my calories & dinner the other half to 500. I don't think I could do the 2 hour window but it would be very ideal!

Well, if it appeals to you at all, dill pickles and LC cheese is delish with a piece of 25 cal ham/turkey/roast beef deli meat wrapped around.

ETA: I just recently noticed that Bi-Lo a local grocery has a store brand LC cheese that is 30 cals and very good. Aldi grocery has one that is 25 cals. Every cal counts on DD!!!! Reg Laughing Cow cheese is 35 cals for the lite.

Ramsey was making faces and called it something and said he never heard of this sicking or something to that effect dish before. Now I personally love stuffed hot peppers and grew up eating them and I just didnt understand why he said what he said. I starting thinking it was a pittsburgh thing because of other things I have mentioned on here and my JUDDD BUDDD's are like what?!?!? lol! Like Perogies......I love me some perogies smoothered in butter and fried onions!!!

I know we have our own language here, I am reminded of it often when chatting to others around the internet. I get a lot of what did you say, what is that....Just the other day I was complaining because my cat went outside on a nice warm day and got into the jagger bush and I was pulling jaggers out of my feet that he pulled out of his fur. I was questioned as to what the heck a jagger bush is....lol!! Its a bush with thorns that grow by the cricks (streams to yinz!!)..... hahahahaha!!


edit to add- the yinz comment made me giggle to myself. I was helping out at a school function once and there was new kids in the school, and I said something like will yinz calm down a little bit....and the one girl looked at me and said whats a yinz......I looked at her for a minute and said its another name for you all.....she looked at me plain as day and said oh, I was gonna say I am not yinz I am german!!!!!!!! Hahaha had me in tears!!!

Carly, I'm adding my thoughts & for your dear DW! My very first mammogram at age 40 resulted in a biopsy!! Talk about being scared!!! But, all was good & benign! Keep us posted?

I see a lot of new faces around here. I see while I've been sick there have been lots of posts! I will do my best to catch up. I am still not well; but, much better! If someone finds my voice.......will you send it to me?! I've had laryngitis for a week!! I told my DH today that I am getting SO tired of being sick! I'm ready for it to go away!!!! All 3 of us have had it & my sister was here for a week & got sick just before she left Wednesday!

Anyway, subscribing so I can keep up this month at least! I missed you all!

You know your new puppy is too big at 9 weeks old when you pull a muscle picking her up to go outside. Ugh. My shoulder is killing me. I wonder how long it'll be before she can hold it all night. Good thing she's cute!

As I am a purist, it was a strange thing for me to throw caution to the wind and do two UD's in a row Wed and Thurs. DS graudated from Officer School and we went out to eat on a DD. I had a HB egg for breakfast and decided to just go for it since DS wanted to eat at his favorite little restaurant in Columbus, GA. Delicious I might add. Then back to DD yesterday as we traveled home and this morning I am at a new low for me, 137.4. Haven't seen that number since before DS was born. I am sure it will be back up tomorrow but it sure was nice to see.

JUST KIDDING! I'm so proud of you both! It does seem a little foreign to me, from my perspective, but I do know how I can play mind games on myself, so I have no doubt I'll feel those things too, when the time comes. I've heard of perogies, but never had them. Had no idea about jaggers. I know cricks well. Yinz had me going, but maybe it's the same as you'uns for us. I'm not yinz, I'm German. That's hilarious!

We surely have these in NY. In NYC there are a few restaurant that people from all over the world go to just to try the perogies and yes- smothered in butter! The onions are optional!

They are a potato fiiled pasta kinda like a potato ravioli, but they are usually fried in butter. Very yummy, but I don't think I've had 1 in over 15 years!

what a busy place

Carly- I just wanted to let you know that you and your DW are in my thoughts and prayers...I know all too well about the wait of a biopsy...I am a survivor of 4 years now and then 2 years ago I had to have open heart surgery because of the radiation did damage to my main artery....

Positive thinking and happiness all around me is what helped
So no more worries and live life each day

so lots of and lots of will get you both threw anything
