First DD after 3 days starting out on 5:2

Since the temps. here have warmed up out of the single digits and I'm about ready to throw my damn scale outside into the melting snow...I think I'll do a week of shakes on my DDs to try and get back below 150 again. :doh: 9:00 Coffee, non-dairy creamer 1:00 Vanilla whey protein shake & 1 Tbsp. SF pistachio pudding mix 5:00 Chocolate whey protein shake & 1 Tbsp. peanut flour TOM may or may not show up any day this week...:confused: |
Cottage cheese
salad / tomato/ ham baked potato with mushrooms and a protein I'm a bit hungry now, I think I may have to eat another dallop of cottage cheese. |

L- potato soup D- tuna casserole But since I go into work earlier than I did last DD, I may just skip that tuna casserole and do the potato soup as more of a lunch/supper thing (you have brunch, I have Lupper:laugh:) |

B - greek yogurt smoothie w/ peaches/strawberries 150c
L - progresso chicken veg rotini 140c D - my Cousin is cooking a cheese tortellini, spinach, white bean soup. I figure I can have a bowl just without the tortellini trying to stick to 500 cals today. |

Well, January was a flop. Ugh. No where close to goal. Haven't LOST ANY WEIGHT IN 6 MONTHS!!!

Cherry Coke Zero, Diet Dr. Pepper, Light Green Tea & Light Lemonade. I really need to cut back on my soda, but the fizziness really helps curb my hunger!

Ended up having an extra potato, dry fried, with ketchup :yummy: Having my second cup of diet hot cocoa now and then I'm brushing my teeth :D

The tortellini were 210 calories for 1 cup. I had exactly 210 calories left for the day to meet 500. So I had a much smaller bowl of soup than they did, no cheese on top, no garlic bread. I think my bowl had about 10 tortellini, 6 white beans at the most, the rest was vegetable broth, tomatoes & fresh spinach! The soup was AMAZING!! I will be making it soon. SO...did pretty good there, may have went over by a few cals w/ tortellini. BUT they made chocolate chip fudge brownie cookies the day before. Wrapped myself up one to take w/ me and took 1 bite and HEAVEN! I think I ate 1/3 of the cookie worked out to about 100 cals. So instead of my 500 back around to my 600ish for a DD. There's always Wednesday! LOL

OMG...I was hijacked! That's my story and I'm sticking to it...went the mall for my walkabout and afterwards, my car pulled into the parking lot of the Olive Garden and wouldn't start until I went in and had soup and salad..which wasn't too bad, but the mussels called to me so I had some and had the bread sticks. Zuppa Toscana, 170 cals, salad (no dressing), 1/2 order mussels 85, but OMG the bread sticks put me up to 500 kcals..Oh well! They were all good and I have no regrets...just can't figure out how my car hijacked me.:dunno:

Mary the salad at olive garden comes w/ dresing already on it. Did u ask for it specificaly without dresing?

Hey, checking in from my b-trip to California.
I definitely didn't feel my best yesterday, but I did totally stick to my DD! B: iced tea, coke zero, and a tiny bite of a pb cookie so I could take my vitamins-- like, maybe 20cal L: a couple slices of pickles, then water, and green tea D: 350 cal healthy cuisine dinner, and 30 cal of carrots, and 10 cal of broth. I was going to have a yogurt and didn't need it around 400 cal! :) I went to bed early, and am feeling like a whole $20 today ;) S. |
