DH texted me from the vet's office. She's in great health and weighs 18 pounds, 11 ounces. At 8 weeks old, she's just a tiny thing.

It's progress- not perfection, right? At least she told you she needs to go out- some puppies would just go and not bother to warn you.

She's on my naughty list today. She discovered she can jump down from the bed, but she can't get back up, so most of last night was her jumping down, then asking for help back up. Oh, and we had the other two dogs in bed with us too.

I got up at 1:00 a.m. to see what she'd been doing the last time and found two piddles and a fresh package on the carpet. Ugh! She'd been really good about using the training pads or waiting until we took her outside. I think having the other dogs in bed messed with her schedule, or she felt she had to mark her territory. So I spent quite some time cleaning in the middle of the night and now I'm exhausted!

On the plus side, I left her outside with the other dogs when I went to work yesterday (DH had to go to L.A. with a friend) and they all seem to be getting along just great. I came home at lunch time and all was well.

Keira just loves her to death. Our boxer/mastiff mix is actually Keira's dog. She picked her out and everything, but she is all goo-goo over Lily.

Here's how whipped we are by our dogs: Keira's about ready for a new bed and wants a bunk bed. We are actually discussing moving her twin size bed into our bedroom when we get her a new bed, just so the dogs have a bed of their own.

Yes, they're spoiled!

Dogs are like chips...can't just have one

I have a pug(Tyson) who is 6 and a pom (Sophie) who is 1 year...we recued her from a puppy-mill....I fostered her mom and her 4 brothers...found great homes for all of them

Must be same with cats. We only have 5 now , but have had up to 6 at certain times.
