I had posted that I had been delivering baby goats and didn't have time to eat so was asked for pictures. I am sure all of us have some kind of interesting hobby that we could share and here is mine. I raise and show dairy goats and it is kidding season.
First picture is of some of the babies in their little pen. Saanens and LaManchas. Second picture is of my two youngest at less than 12 hours old after their bottle. They like to lick the milk off each others faces. Silly girls.

Since you show them, is it also possible that you drink goat milk as well?
Recently heard about the marvelous benefits of Goat Cheese.:heart:

When I have extra I use the milk to make kefir and yogurt and soft cheese. I was never much of a plain milk drinker but I love dairy products.:)

Oh my gosh, those are so cute, Adi! And it's great that you can enjoy homemade dairy products, too.

I guess I can only list reading and watching films and exercising as hobbies, and those hobbies are way less photogenic than your little goats.

I like to make beaded jewelry and enjoy most crafts like scrapbooking, wreath making and tiny little items that I can paint or embelish. Not much time for it, but a couple people got beaded gifts for Christmas since they requested such.

We had goats growing up :love:

I only have two hobbies, reading (I usually get through 25-30 books a month :D ), and then we have a sailboat so in the summer we spend a lot of time out on Lake MI sailing :)

A hobby of mine that keeps me going is my 6 grandkids.

Well, I guess I stand corrected. I have always said that there is nothing cuter than a baby goat but your picture proves me wrong. Cute, cuter and cutest for sure.:love:

I used to have Saanens! I love them, they're my favorite breed ever. Your kids are adorable.

My old man - been-there, done that, taken me so much father then we ever thought he would be able to. Now just trying to keep him happy & sound for when my son is old enough to ride him.

Yennie, your horses are beautiful too. We had horses growing up, nothing like show horses but I do miss them.

Ben and Jerry- 12 they are brothers
Simba- 8
Scooterpie- 2.5 he is a teacup Persian

I make my own cards and scrapbook..I love little goat and horses but don't have any..Though I do have 9 grandchildren and one in the oven for May. It is fun to find out more about the lives of those we get to know here

Oh and I understand about getting 5 cats to pose..They aren't much for posing they just want all the attention!

Thanks! We also have 2 Golden Retrievers, a cat, 4 steers, 4 chickens and a pony for my son. I want to add some goats again...once I get some time to rebuild some fences ;)
Oh, and we occasionally rotate through some pigs as well.

We had Nubians (ears down) when I was a kid/teen, we had goat milk and meat which is yummier than I thought it would be! The babies were always the best thing, they used to play with the sheep babies. Fun times on the farm!

Stunning horses, gorgeous grandchildren and so many people with talents I didn't know about.

We have 2 beautiful Norwegian Forest Cats, and we allowed the queen to have 2 litters. 5 kittens a time, boy are they time wasters!

I used to do a lot of Am Drams when I was younger.... Met DH doing that:love:

I like to get creative in the kitchen (potato candy anyone?) and will be making some stuff out of cardboard once we move (cardboard boxes EVERYWHERE!!:stars:).
I also want to learn to crochet.

So right now, the only hobby I have is cooking/baking

The baby goats are adorable! My next-door neighbor was raising goats for awhile, and I enjoyed watching their playful antics.

I also spend quite a bit of time with my adorable 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. Life really changed when she came along and she makes the sun shine for me.

As for the rest of my time, I work on sewing mostly baby things for my Etsy shop. It's called Ruffle Mania, if anyone would care to come have a look-see.

Finally, I enjoy low carb cooking, but don't get to cook as much as I used to. It's hard when you eat almost nothing every other day, and there are only two of us. I can't make too much food or it'll hang around too long. :D
