Ann I always said I didn't mind my face, the lines there told the story of my life. But there is no character in a wattle.

I tried the "challenge" top yesterday and it fits really well! Now, I just want it to hang loose!

SlimNana, I have the same problem! I had a fat deposit removed from there quite a few years back (but not a tuck) and the doctor had said then that it might come back! And it has! That's why I am thinking of Neck/face lift!

I think my wattle may have come from a goiter and nodules that I had on my thyroid years ago, when I was first diagnosed with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism.

Tried on my stuff

First, also let me say

I was able to get up & on (without popping seams or straining the elastic, lol) the one pair of pants I really wanted for this challenge, but they're still a good 2" from being button-able.

I have a second pair of riding pants I also really like that I pulled right up and buttoned & zipped with no issues at all! Yay! They're one of my favorite pairs that I could not wear last summer.

The jacket still doesn't button, a good 2-3" there as well but the arms are looser and when I put it on, I can now move my arms without feeling like I'm going to tear the sleeves off. It was probably more like 4-5" from buttoning when the challenge started.

If I can't wear it by 4-5, that's ok. Its been fun to think about and I'll set a new goal timeline for myself: 7-23 as that's when we head to Montana for a really big show & I'd love to be able to wear this ensemble when I ride. And, by really big, I mean Olympians from many countries ride at this show. Not against me, I'm at too low a level but its really fancy & fun to see all the "big guns" there!!

No, just that ever since I began IFing as a WOE, I've been feeling a lot like a guinea pig.

I can put my challenge dress on, but still need to lose at least 12 pounds to wear it in public! Not so sure that is gonna happen in 16 days!!

My pants suit is sooo not happening by April 5th

Too much spinning my wheels and re-losing the same pounds in the last couple of months. I think it's hormones. Menohell is really messing with me!

You're not alone in Menohell! As the old saying goes, misery loves company. I'm just grateful to have found this WOE before I reach the other side of this so-called change of life.

Keep on keeping on, the best is yet to be!

Soren, thanks for the dancing guinea pig... (it takes one to know one)

Yeah, I'm not meeting my April 5th goal either, but I'm okay with it. It was pretty optimistic anyway. I'm still excited to get into those jeans though, and when I do, I'll sure be letting y'all know it!

dang, shouldn't have made such a lofty goal for myself. I still am going to take a chance on Aprill 5th, I will prbably still wear a dress, it just might not be that dress. The problem is, my calves are too big for the rest of my body and it makes me self conscious. I don't want to sit through a whole day at work self conscious. I am hoping being part of the JB walking club is going to help burn off some of the calf fat

I think I mentioned I have the same problem! I started doing calve raises every morning and night...and within just 3 weeks of that and I can get into 2 pair of boots that I haven't been able to get into. one was a pair of high healed black boots, with a zipper...zipped right up! the other boots were my farm muck boots. when putting these on the rubber tops just squished down...now they fit with no squish down( but still cant tuck pants into them yet). I always walk but now I am doing a program to start running. when I did this years ago my leg fat just melted away! hoping for the same effect!

my legs are still big in comparison to the rest of my body...looks really bad in the mirror...but I will be covering them up too...just hoping to see results for the summer. I am not expecting swim suits, but would love to wear shorts and not capris. good luck! I so feel your pain...we can do this!

Hi all! I am not so sure I will make it to my size 10 jeans....my 12s are a bit saggy, and the size 10 are on but I have a 2 1/2 inch gap to get zipped. hoping to at least get them zipped even if it squeezes the life out of me...HE HE HE...but still have some time...fingers crossed...

This is an awesome idea and very easy to do - no special equipment needed. I guess I never thought of myself as having overly fat calves but I'm always having to stuff myself into tall boots or order wide calves on tall boots. They'd probably be normal, proportion wise, if I wasn't 5'2"!

Love this! Thanks!!!

What are calf raises?? I always feel like if I do a calf exercise it will just make my calves bigger, but I'm willing to give it a try.
