I'm in! I would love to be in my size 16 Levi's. I'm not sure if that's going to be possible, because I'm just now in my 20's. So 2 sizes in 2 months. Hmmm....
I am contemplating doing a potato hack, or maybe two if it really works for me. Maybe one in Feb and one in Mar. So, I'll try for it! |

The inches lost must be from the combo. of doing pilates on the rebounder/reformer machine, along with IF. Keep on keeping on JBs! Trust the process. It's all about progress, not perfection. AnnLast edited by SlimNana; 01-29-2013 at 09:06 AM.. |

This is really exciting. I tried to take a picture, but I can't figure out how to post it. I borrowed the pictures of my horses from my Facebook page, which I figured out how to do, but I'd just as soon not post a picture of me not fitting into my clothes on FB only to post them here.
![]() Maybe once I have a few more posts under my belt, I can put up pictures. Still waiting to be granted the ultimate gift of a signature. |

I'm feeling a bit like slim nanna is the fact that my scale may be dishonest regarding inches lost. This weekend I'm going to whip out a few 4Ps. I may be closer than I think- or I may not be. The 6Ps popped out of no where. I was wearing a few and thinking they were 8Ps. I love that kind of "mistake". The thing is that these clothes were all purchased between 2003-2006. A 4P was smaller then than it is now. I'm wearing an XSP in some things that are recent purchases, but those things are bigger than a SP from 8 yrs ago
![]() I have some MP from back then that are still snug- vanity sizing is something else!

Tex, we were posting at the same time. I'll never catch up to you!
![]() Carly, I'm looking forward to seeing you wearing your size 4Ps! ![]() I think trying on smaller size clothing that you have already, and know didn't previously fit, is the best measure of your progress. The best after photos are the ones where the thinner person is wearing their old larger size clothes that used to fit tight, and now they're hanging off them. Bahahaha!
That will NEVER happen. This saggy belly is never going to see the light of day. After a C-section and then carrying over 100 extra pounds for a bunch of years, it's not pretty.![]() |

Now that I have a 6" scar on my right hip from my replacement, I'm sentenced to wearing a skirted bathing suit for the rest of my life. ![]() I'm not one of those women who are comfortable enough in their own skin to expose their scars & stretch marks as a badge of honor either. ![]() |

I'd like to wear a bikini again some day, but may have to have surgery first. Started lying the groundwork with the hubbs...we kinda talked about if I can hit my goal weight/size and keep it for a year, maybe. If its needed. I'm kinda hopeful that maybe I won't need to. I used all the creams, etc during & after pregnancy so I'm hoping things will go back the way they were. I've never been a string bikini kinda gal so if there is a little pooch to hold in with a higher waisted pair of bottoms, I'm ok with that.
I had surgery on the top half in 2006, to go down, so I've been under the knife before (twice if you count the c-section). The first 2 weeks sucked, and for my breast surgery I wasn't allowed any narcotics in case they made me sick, so all pain control was "accomplished" with liquid Tylenol & ice packs. Not sure I'd like to do that again but you gotta do what you gotta do! Dawn - go shopping!!! Perfect excuse!!!!! Congratulations again. Lily is adorable. |

This is the dress I bought that is two sizes to small. I am having to suck in just to get the belt to the first hole - the belt really doesn't fit and is killing my stomach because it is so tight. Actually - the entire dress is tight! Fingers crossed.

OK - found my goal when trying on too small clothes in the closet. A very chic navy pantsuit in a size 10 that has been in my closet with the tags on for years. I can *just* button the jacket but the pants are threatening to split if I force them on. It might be unrealistic for April but let's go for the gold!! ( or navy as the case may be)

Clothes shopping for a smaller size in your own closest is the best, especially when you find something that still has its tags on!
Sure wish we had a cheer leader smiley with pom-poms for you all in taking the first step in selecting a non-scale motivation item, and taking before photos too! WTG I can't wait to see everyone's before & afters, while they're wearing their goal item in a couple of months. Last edited by SlimNana; 01-30-2013 at 10:57 AM.. |

I would like to join this challenge too - I have been seriously losing motivation since Dec 1st. I have lost 60 pounds and feel better but need to remember how much I still need to lose.
I have old work clothes from c. 1998/1999 pre children! They are 14W and 16W and include suits with skirts! They may be too out of date to actually wear at work (shoulder pads!) but I would love to fit into them. Dee |

I just found a sweater in my "extra" closet that still has the tags on it. I forgot when I bought it but I know I tried it on last winter and it didn't fit. I took it out of the closet yesterday and it fits! It might actually be a bit big but way smaller than my other sweaters so I think it will look ok, at least this winter. I'm hoping to be a much smaller size next winter!
