Lot's of the JUDDD BUDDDs eat LC. Some people (like me) start out LC and gradually raise their carbs to higher levels than strict LC allows.
JUDDD is a format and does not care what you eat - just how many calories are in the food.
JUDDD is also a very gradual way to lose weight. A few BUDDDs are sprinters, but most of us poke along at a pound or two a week.
Sirtuin enzyme production (the basis of JUDDD) is invoked when the body enters ketosis - either my avoiding carbs, or by eating very low cal on DD, or ... there are several other ways to invoke SIRTs without endangering your health (see the potato hack). I suspect each of our bodies has a set level of enzyme production - meaning I am not sure whether eating LC and eating very low cal will speed up your weight loss speed. But, if LC is where you are most comfortable, there is no conflict between LC and JUDDD.
