Having another UD today, started the 5:2 to see if I can maintain there
Coffee with HWC chicken breast and veggies for lunch dinner-no idea yet, maybe chef salad or soup and salad from takeout, I'm not hungry right now so nothing sounds good yet. May have to make up a batch of fat bombs for the week to get calories in. |

![]() I bet it feels crazy strange to have a 2nd UD in a row...and be on plan! Love it! Hope it works out perfect for you, Dawn!Tex, those "confections" sure sound good! to everyone! Not sure, today is a crazy running children everywhere kind of day. Sure won't be home much. Breakfast was just lots of coffee & just had a HB egg. Lunch is out with hubby, who knows where. Dinner might be leftover soup from last night. We're all home at whacky, different times tonight! We'll see! The goal is sticking right at (or under) 1800 cals. Hoping to get the scale moving again. (downward, that is) ![]()

UD 1500 max. @ 148
Since having lunch at noon, I've been eating non-stop for the last hour. Not sure WTH is up, but I need to put the brakes on it right now. PMS? 8:00 Coffee, non-dairy creamer, 1/2 Quest protein bar 12:00 1/2 C. egg white omelet with broccoli & laughing cow cheese, 2 sl. turkey bacon, 1 sl. whole wheat toast. (most likely it was the toast that triggered my crazy carb. craving for the next hour.) I wound up having two pieces of chocolate covered toffee and rather then finish off the rest of the remaining can of toffee from Christmas, I decided to have 1.5 C. of chocolate fiber one cereal - (in attempts to regain control of my chocolate, carb cravings from becoming a full blown binge fest for the rest of the day.) ![]() 4:00 I plan to have a diet hot cocoa, only if I'm still craving chocolate before dinner. 6:00 Turkey burger, sweet potato fries, mixed veg. salad with balsamic & EVOO dressing 8:00 Diet hot cocoa Forgot to add Exercise: 30 min. 10lb. Kettle Bell workout at 3:00

Adi, I know exactly what you mean. I felt the same way until I discovered this contoured kettle bell by GoFit.
Along with the turkey chili for dinner, I had two glasses of red wine, 1 C. of mac. & cheese, and two squares of Lindt dark chocolate with black currents. ![]() |

hahaha, I will be way over today, I fear. Can't wait to see that evil scale tomorrow!
We had Applebees for lunch & even though I ordered mine without the bacon and only ate the middles of the sandwich, between it and the fries, it's 1500 calories! ROFLOLOL! I figured I could take a few hundred off for what I ate (and didn't have on my sandy) but still, I ate an egg for breaky and had a few small chocolates. I'm still gonna have leftover soup for dinner, too. Best I can do man! |

lol, flutter you deserve to enjoy your UD! Hope you have a wonderful evening!
Had a salad that I made at work (in the cafe), with lettuce, cukes, tomatoes turkey, ham and roast beef and a little cheese (and ranch). Then I had a piece of banana creme pie (that came with the price of the meal)...not very good and I threw away half of it. Still, from my figures I'm at over 800. I have chicken to make chicken soup for dinner...drinking coffee now and not hungry. ETA: Is anyone finding that UD calories are not as extravagant as you once thought?? I am going to have to start planning better for UD's, and not just count after the fact!! LOL!

Tex, it's ok to have one now and then. I think sometimes it might even make weight loss happen faster. Especially if you have been having super low DD's, or under UD cals. Even if that's not the case, just chalk it up to a splurge. We're going to have them, and it's all good.![]() |

Hey, tex, don't feel bad! I have been running alllllll afternoon and hardly home. I picked up pizza for the kids in between their activities and ate a piece for dinner. I've had a couple other chocolates, too. I'm not over the top up on calories, but definately over my number for today. Oh well, it's a first for me and I'm not full, or binging, or going to feel guilty about it. It's been a whacky day!
LG, yep, although I haven't had a super hungry UD today, I am not as full as I was when first starting JUDDD. I think my bod's caught up to Steph's smartie one & caught on to this game plan. LOL! |

Oooh, good for you! We're supposed to get snow through the day tomorrow but I'm not happy about it. I have to be in/out of the kids' schools through the day and detest icky roads when I have to be out all day. Blah! I'm so not an adrenaline junkie. LOL!

Tex, I'm sure it won't do any harm. In fact, I've noticed some who have kicked start some loss after a higher UD. I've had that happen myself. Plus, it's a mental health thing. Sometimes you just need to let go, relax, and not think/obsess about food and calories for a day or so. You're fine!

thank you
It would be great if that were the case for me. We shall see.after having an UUAD( i went over by 600 calories or so) I started to get that old mentality of I can't do this, I'm not going to be successful, there's no way I'll be able to stick to my DD calories, I'm destined to be fat and lumpy, etc, etc. Thank goodness I had this board to come to . It just helps to see the other successess, the other trials and errors, and to get the encouragement. |
