Well, I forced myself to eat a small bowl of chili with a little cheese and lite sour cream. THEN I forced myself to eat 3 mini cupcakes! I am so done for today!

Do you have any salad? Fix a big bowl of salad with a little oil and vinegar, or whatever salad dressing you like. It won't add too many calories plus it should calm the hunger monster.

Hmmm, entering every morsel in, I'm at 1837. Guess I'm a bit over my new "lower" UD numbers. I need to go back and see what they were again. I think around 1750ish. Anyhoo, it was yummy. LOL!

Thanks, looked in the fridge and the lettuce is severely wilted. I think I'm good now though. I cannot eat that stuff again, but it's so good..but I can't eat it. But it's good. These are the kinds of convos I have with myself.

Did you get all your cals in for the day? Maybe you are trying to restrict too much. I usually am satisfied when I get to 1800-1900 calories and don't want to go over that by much if any.

Also, try a cup (or two) of chicken broth. A whole can, or two cups is only 20 calories and works well to curb hunger sometimes.

Yep, I am at 100 over, 1939. That deep fried food is the nemesis to this WOE for me.

I guess it's something you'll have to watch in the future. I found my nemesis recently too...coconut pineapple icecream by Hagandaz. I finished the last serving on my last DD.

I'm sure there are other nemeses as well, like the strawberry cake mix and strawberry icing I saw today in the Walmart baking aisle. Not to mention the strawberry refrigerator cake recipe that I read on the side of the box. I had to pry the box out of my own hand lol

My up day went well in that I stuck to the menu I set up for myself and so I had room at the end of the day for a square and a half of dark chocolate. But: I'm hungry and could easily go back to the kitchen and eat a big plate of food plus some more chocolate a couple spoonfuls of nut butters. It's almost like up days are a little bit of a disappointment, because I don't get really satisfied. I'm using my calories to have some treats / healthy fast, like guacamole and chia seeds soaked in unsweetened almond milk, but also adding some bulk, like two hearts of romaine to scoop the guacamole with. I already have the next up day shopped for and planned out, but maybe the one after that I'll try just eating a lot of volume and minimize the treats to 200-300 calories and make a big pot of vegetable soup.
Well, at least I have a lovely down day meal to look forward to tomorrow. Repeat of last down day featuring shirataki noodles with shiitake mushrooms and spinach, asian style. It was so good. Just have to make it until dinner.
