~UD Saturday Roll Call~

Quick Question - when do you count your first week? I had my first DD a week ago today. So today I have been on strict rotation for 1 week. What days weight do I use to judge how much I've lost in 1 week todays or tomorrows? Tomorrows will be after an UD so guess I can take the lower #??

B - few donut holes & 2 scrambled eggs 300-400c
L - meeting friends for a late lunch at Ruby Tuesday - plan on either fried shrimp or some sort of baked fish w/ broccoli & salad bar
D - if I have any calories left will be something small, if not leftovers

Have a great Saturday!!

I only really count weigh ins after DDs, so if yesterday was a DD I'd look at this morning's weigh in and see where you're at for this week

Also, to get a better picture of how JUDDD is working for you it's a good idea to look at your weight loss progress over a span of a few weeks/a month. I love going through the daily weigh in thread and looking at beginning of month weights, and then seeing last day of the month weights-that's really when you see the JUDDD magic happening

Thanks! Well today will be me 1 week weigh in then. I'm down 5 pounds!!!!!
Yes, I'm looking forward to that myself. I told my husband I'd lost 5 pounds this week. He said so in 4 weeks you'll be down 20 pounds right? I said...UMMM PROB NOT!!! The loss isn't typically the same every week, your body has to adjust. He said, yea you can lose 5 every week, it's all in what you do and how you do it...UGH! Men!

Natasha, my DH is currently losing 5 pounds per week, but he had gastric bypass and EVERY day is a DD. 5 pounds per week for normal dieting is just not going to happen. I know you know that, but your DH needs a reality check.

Ok, now I'm up and thinking about food for today

breakfast-a breakfast burrito (burrito sized tortilla shell, 2 sausage links, hand full of co-jack cheese, hash brown patty, scrambled egg, ketchup and hot sauce)

no lunch (I'm stuffed from breakfast!), but I did just eat a chocolate chip cookie

supper-no idea, but probably a WW frozen entree.

I'll need to get some more calories in at some point-the breakfast burrito was 600ish calories and if I do an entree for supper that's under 300 calories. Cookie is about 100 calories. I'd be around 700 calories short for the day

I'm going to repeat my last UD dinner for today's.....'healthy' spaghetti made with brown rice pasta, organic beef, mushrooms, garlic, onions, a little organic sauce and a generous sprinkling of cheese from grass fed cows. It was sooooo tasty I can't wait to have it again. And a glass of wine. Comes to 908 calories.

For lunch it will either be eggs with hash browns & ham. Or a big smoothie. Not sure yet. Or maybe a salad. I'm just not inspired.

Oh, I don't know. I woke up to TOM
I thought I was hungry so at 10:30 I made 2 eggs with a low carb torilla- 1 bite and yuck! I threw it right in the trash. I'm not even drinking my UD coffee which I normally love. I want to go back to bed, but DW wants to go buy a DVD/ Blu ray thingy... ugh.

Natasha! WTG!

Dawn, great to hear that hubby is doing so well!

I have a crockpot of pork ribs stewing. So, dinner will be ribs with taters, green beans, & salad. I am making some more bone broth with my ribs afterwards for the rest of the week.
Have already enjoyed my coffee w/ 2 eggs and a few walnuts.

Enjoy UD all!

Forgot to post menu. Of course it's an UD and ZERO appetite.

coffee
English muffin
Venti iced coffee
ham sandwich (too dry; only ate 1/2)
D - chili
Wine

I need some calories, so I'll find some snacks sometime this afternoon.

WOE: Thinking of trying NK
Just coffee in the a.m. but coconut creme hikes up the count - 111
Bacon, mushroom & provolone 2-egg omelet for lunch - 364

At some point I'm going to have some of the chocolate avocado pudding I made, should be 170 cals unless DH eats more than his share lol

Not sure about dinner, may go out, and if so I'll have about 1,100 cals to play with

Edited to add: Oh, and I'm an every-day weigher, I writer in the day's weight on a calendar block, and love looking up to the week or two above to see the numbers changing!

I have been dying to try the chocolate avocado pudding again. I made it a while back and thought it was amazing.

I went shopping on an empty stomach this morning - bad move, so my day started with this "healthy mix" - 5 chicken wing segments, 1.5 huge cookies, a piece of bread and some skinny sticks. I figure that's about 800 cals. Saving the rest for dinner out tonight.

I'm having a grande Carmel macchiato- that will help. I hope these dang errands are almost done. The bed is calling my name. DW was like you don't look too good? Do you want to rest when we're done? Me: um yeah, do you think? She's just glad we got the Bluray thingy.

Natasha, I started on 11/13 and it was a DD. I didn't see the point in starting on a UD, as that was what I was doing all along, lol. I would count my first DD as my starting date.
