Today's update: still sick, not much change. Ears popping when I blow, which is good I guess. Some coughing, but it does seem a bit better over a few days ago.

Food: would you believe I'm hungry? that's new.

B: water

L: chicken broth, maybe with hot sauce (eta: I tried scrambling an egg and pouring it in... I didn't get strands, i got, um, scrambled floating egg. It's not bad, but now I have to learn how to make egg drop soup).

D: probably pork loin, fried with a bit of lemon? I miss my greek yogurt, but I think I should lay off the dairy products for a while.

will be 500 or thereabouts.

Oatmeal with blueberries and black cherries
Salad with chicken/olives/peas and low cal dressing ? Not sure about this meal 100%
might end up being just peanut butter and almond milk

I've been gone all morning so haven't really thought about it. So far today I've had 50c soup and a 150c egg roll. Not sure what else yet.

I don't do fancy food at home or out, except dessert on UD!

Today's a down day since I ended up with a moderate day yesterday.

I have some frozen fish fillets I'm going to cook up and I'll be living on those today.

I don't mess with so call md, medium meal day.
Every other day for me is a dd, My dd no matter what, unless I have a 1,800 cal and up! that's an UD whoever reads it. Then next would be dd.
Eating 1,200 1,500 and little more is a dd, in my book for any adult. Well 1,500 is up there isn't it? But it's still low.
i cant stoke my body for having a successful dd, doing "md" first. Not good, I won't make the real dd feeling like a human.
Uhh I'd be grumpy, lite headed, yukie stomache off and on for sure. Not a gd= good day.

Ok-been playing around with the JUDDD calculator and I think I'm going to adjust my calories from the 20% weight loss mode to the 35% weight loss mode, to give myself a bit of breathing room on my DDs (just a temporary thing though). So, I'm going to start today with my different DD calories, which are now 604 :)

cup of soup 50
egg roll 150
spaghetti frozen dinner (WW) 250-surprisingly good!
probably another egg roll tonight and a cup of diet hot coca

=620-meaning I'm going over on my first day of higher DDs :o :laugh:

Sara, a lot of people do that, or use the calculator to figure out a range of numbers: 20%, 25%, 30%, 35% etc.

That way, if you have the odd DD that isn't going to plan, you can still look at the range and say "HEY! I'm still doing a DD, just a little higher" as opposed to say, throwing it all out and eating a pizza. :)

I know that anything from 0-say 700 for me is still a DD.

I can't believe it never dawned on me to look further at the calculator-I didn't even realize there was all those other percentages :o :laugh: I'm going to get my DD numbers for all the different ranges and then play around with them. Since I'm getting close to my goal, I think I can start transitioning closer to the maintenance range :)

End of day:

1 ft long whole wheat turkey (no cheese or mayo) with mustard and veggies -- 290x2= 580
and I snacked on about 50 cal of salami

B - 2 cups coffee w 2 tbs evap milk and capella flavor drops, 1/2 of superlow muffin
S - a cup of cauli rice with chicken broth and seasonings
L - veggie soup
S - a cup of cauli rice with chicken broth and seasonings
D - 2 cups salad with lemon juice, bowl of veggie soup
S - veggie soup
S - finish superlow muffin

Works out right around 500 calories, a good dd.
