Portion size is important- another perk of prepackaged. Before JUDDD when I was doing low cal/low carb I was using a salad plate for my dinner plate to control portions. If I was very hungry 1 hour later I refilled the salad plate with lettuce and low cal dressing. After that I always felt satisfied. I also did what Cici did with 1 food that I could have an unlimited amount of. For me it was celery- crispy, crunchy and low cal. In the first few weeks I probably at 3-4lbs of celery a week, but I lost 10 pounds that way. I prefer JUDDD, but maybe those first 5 weeks of "training" got me prepared

I too have had troubles with going over on my UDs. I just spent 3 days eating only potatoes and I believe I am ready to recommit to sensible UDs.
I think for me I will try to focus on only "one meal" being UD, and the rest of the day eat "healthier" with one snack. It eats to be too much if I want eggs, bacon, cheese and toast for breakfast, then also pizza for dinner and ice cream for dessert. Can add up quickly. So if I fast, or eat a 200 cal breakfast, I have room for a fancy pasta dish that DBF and I make together, with 1 slice of French bread, and 1 serving of frozen yogurt. Sometime even on a UD I will eat a progreso or Campbell's soup for 140 cal per can ( or less) just so I can fit in a decadent dinner. I'm hoping I can get back to doing this. Wish you luck at finding what works for you as well!!

I know the corn sounds weird, and DH turned his nose up at it too . . . until he tried it. Now he loves it! The trick is to simmer your sauce until it's ready, cook your pasta, and at the last minute, right before you serve, throw in the frozen corn. It heats up but stays crisp and tastes so fresh and wonderful. I also like a meaty sauce with big chunks of onion.
