Went to Wally World and got:dunno:

Price is $5 up to over $100, some have batteries, others you plug in to recharge. Was thinking of getting the cheapie to try, hate to spend $$$ and then not use it:stars: Now I see that they have diffeent ends on even the cheap one, so more :confused:

Oral B Pulsar! I love it- not expensive at all we bought 4 of them at Cosco for like $20 or less. The battery it comes with last forever- I'll have to throw it out before the battery dies I'm sure.

I have a Sonicare and I love it. We got a two-pack with a bunch of extra heads, so Keira just uses the same one I use, but changes out the head. It makes my teeth feel much cleaner than using a regular toothbrush. I don't remember which model we got (the Elite, maybe?) but it was not the most expensive. I think the two-pack was less than $100 and we've been using them for over a year with no problems. The replacement heads are a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. Mine doesn't spin, just vibrates at very high speed, and seems to really make a difference in the level of clean. It does take some getting used to. You have to build up to the proper level of pressure, and it can be messy if you accidentally take it out of your mouth while still on.

First electric one I bought was an Oral-B Professional one that cost about $100 bucks. It was rechargeable and lasted about a year and a half if I recall. Second was the cheapest rechargeable Oral-B had. I think it's called a Vitality. It was around $20 and has lasted at least 5 years now. Both seem to do the same job brushing my teeth. The expensive one had several different features which I never even used. I recommend saving the money and buying the plain model.

Exactly! I just bought more at Costco this month..I don't think I'll ever use anything else.

I bought an Oral-B 17 years ago when I broke my wrist and couldn't use a regular one...used it for over 15 years and bought another when it finally died. Couldn't do without it..

I have the oral B that has a separate timer, and is rechargeable. We've had it a few years, and LOVE LOVE LOVE it... We change the heads, and clean the goop that accumulates on the base where you put the heads, but it works great.

I was using the previous model, and there's a noticeable difference. Before that, I was using battery operated crest spinbrush, and it's a HUGE difference over that.

I love the timer on this one (30 sec per quadrant) and the smiley face when you're done... and the SPECIAL smiley face if you do an extra 30 seconds ;)

it really makes my teeth feel like I was at the dentist, I swear!

so that's my recommendation!

That's the one I've used for years (not the same one!) and I love it. Cheap, can get at the grocery store, replacement heads readily available.

Got my tooth brush this week, Oral-B Vitality, cost was just a very pennies over $30 with the tax.

It is a learning experience to use:laugh:

First use got tooth past in my hair:stars:, second time mirror was a bigger mess and very hard to clean:hyst:

Think I must learn to not look in the mirror while brushing:dunno:

It sure makes my teeth feel ever so clean and I do like it!

My dentist wanted me to have one of those electric toothbrushes after I told her that my son was given one when he had his braces put on. She sold me the $10 that she sells in her office!! She said they are just as good as the expensive ones. You can replace the heads (brush parts) and it is run on batteries. Much easier than rechargeable and not very expensive. I love it :heart: Oh, yeah. I am sure that my son's is way more expensive, but his is battery charged as well. Not rechargeable. I like not having to have it plugged in because I have other things that need to be plugged in to my bathroom outlets.

Ymmv, but I find the rechargeable one way more powerful than my old battery operated (crest spinbrush) one.
Anything is better than manual though! ;)
