Well I did not reach goal ...but that's only a number on a scale, does it frustrate me? yes!!!! What did I do right besides the number on the scale? I swam lengths for 20-30 minutes 2x a week , hubby joined me and this was fun (although my hairdresser yesterday commented on what it;s doing to my hair, nothing a bathing cap can't solve)
I worked out 13X with Jillian Michaels, lifting weights, toning, shredding etc!! So although there has been minimal movement on the scale a more active lifestyle has been established! The weight has to come off eventually right?

I just realized that our stats are almost identical I've read a few different books (Gary Taubes etc), that say weight loss can be stalled by exercise. However your body is probably changing shape-which really, is more important than a number on a scale

That is a wonderful attitude! I want to remember this for slow months.

I'd like to thank you all for letting me join you on the January goal thread. I almost made it 158.8 -- goal was 158!!! I also measured this morning and have lost a total of 4.25" from my body since Jan 1. Sooooo excited about that!

Fast5 is working well for me. Didn't start losing until I changed to it, plus it works so much better for me and my dh!! Plus I'm not cold anymore - don't understand that as I'm still fasting - sometimes up to 23 hours.

Just want to wish everyone on JUDDD good luck and I'll say it again. You all are some of the most nicest and considerate and helpful people I know.

Me? I'm only on my second week of JUDDD, so too soon to say. That, plus I started exercising again, so I'm trying to stay calm and keep doing what I *know* is good for me. Even though the scale is up!! It's only one measure, and I know it'll come back down... Trying to be patient! You're all so inspiring!!
