(I guess I forgot to post yesterday and I don't remember the exact #) 1/10 - UD - 226.7 - so ... not in the groove yet for January for a variety of reasons, but maintaining, and will get back in weight loss mode this weekend. 1/11 - DD - 227.7 1/12 - UD - 226.1 1/13 - DD - 228.7 Big bounce! possibly from: UUAD Thursday catching up with me, new batteries in scale this morning, or lots of salt from several bowls of soup yesterday (I have a cold). 1/14 - UD - 226.8 - go away, yucky cold germs. 1/15 - DD - ? 227-229 ... couldn't get a consistent weight on scale 1/16 - UD - 224.5 - no longer "morbidly obese" 1/17 - MD - 227.1 - ate only one meal out with the girls, and it was healthy stuff, but there were no calories listed and I suspect that calories are still in maintenance to MD range 1/18 - UD - 227.9 - ? don't know what this weight is all about, so I'm just going to assume it's one of those anomalies that will go away soon 1/19 - DD - 227.5 1/20 - UD - 225.9 1/21 - DD - 227.0 1/22 - MD - 225.4 - special lunch tomorrow at work so switching rotations (reluctantly) 1/23 - UD - 226.4 1/24 - DD - 228.5 1/25 - UD - 226.4 - this hasn't been my best month ... bit of fatigue, maybe? Good news is I haven't lost any ground since the beginning of the month even though I've been much looser than usual. I also feel confident that it will turn around soon.

Technically that would be a 2 # loss. 1/1 DD 148.0 1/2 UD 144.8 (looks like I was a little puffed up) 1/3 DD 147.0 1/4 UD 144.8 1/5 DD 148.2 1/6 UD 146.6 1/7 DD 148.2 1/8 UD 145.8 1/9 DD 145.4 A drop after an UD where I combined potatoes and stayed below my calorie limit too. See self, it works if you work it. 1/10 UD 143.8 YEA!! creeping down again. 1/11 DD 143.8 I have a strange new pattern emerging but a good one. 1/12 UD 142.6 I like this new pattern. 1/13 DD 142.2 Unheard of 1/14 UD 142.2 Stranger yet 1/15 DD 143.4 Perfect bounce since I did not do a potato or anything odd UD yesterday 1/16 UD 142.8 1/17 DD 141.8 Another loss after an UD (modified potato day) 1/18 UD 142.4 I am going to do another modified potato day 1/19 DD 142.2 I might bounce up Sunday or Monday since I also had yogurt (a lot) yesterday too 1/20 UD 142.8 There is my "too much yogurt bounce" 1/21 DD 142.2 Perfect 1/22 UD 140.8 A new low. Brilliant Adi! Well done to all the losers and goal reachers.
Nilla, I don't know what to say. You have struggled for so long. I am not being silly, although it may sound that way, but I want to suggest that you look at 5:2. It seems mad to think that fewer DDs might work, but something about taking away the pressure seems to be very relaxing and stops mad UDs. Also the MD needn't happen. There is also the rest from counting calories which can in itself be annoying for some. Just my thoughts. |

Nilla, you only came back to JUDDD this month, after an operation. There could be lots of internal healing going on right now, which is much more important than a number on the scale. Many of the old-timers stress that patience is needed, especially at first.I know it's frustrating and disheartening but don't risk undoing your good work now. I agree with Cindy about pressure. Maybe a holiday from the scales, rather than from JUDDD, would take the pressure off for a couple of weeks? If you stick with your numbers you know you won't gain, so that won't be a problem. I've lost less than two pounds this month but my waist is suddenly a lot smaller. JUDDD is so much more than just weight-loss! My goal this month is to get back into the mid 140's and maintenance JUDDD again for my vacation. PMD(potato medium day)tried the potato hack on these days and they were around 800 cals. I am happy to be back to doing JUDDD rotations again!

I am going to jump in here with only 10 days left of the month! Starting after a frustrating few months of thyroid surgery, and going off low carb during this time. Now I have to take off the weight I have gained furing this, and take off those last 8-10 lbs I had been working on.

(I guess I forgot to post yesterday and I don't remember the exact #) 1/10 - UD - 226.7 - so ... not in the groove yet for January for a variety of reasons, but maintaining, and will get back in weight loss mode this weekend. 1/11 - DD - 227.7 1/12 - UD - 226.1 1/13 - DD - 228.7 Big bounce! possibly from: UUAD Thursday catching up with me, new batteries in scale this morning, or lots of salt from several bowls of soup yesterday (I have a cold). 1/14 - UD - 226.8 - go away, yucky cold germs. 1/15 - DD - ? 227-229 ... couldn't get a consistent weight on scale 1/16 - UD - 224.5 - no longer "morbidly obese" 1/17 - MD - 227.1 - ate only one meal out with the girls, and it was healthy stuff, but there were no calories listed and I suspect that calories are still in maintenance to MD range 1/18 - UD - 227.9 - ? don't know what this weight is all about, so I'm just going to assume it's one of those anomalies that will go away soon 1/19 - DD - 227.5 1/20 - UD - 225.9 1/21 - DD - 227.0 1/22 - MD - 225.4 - special lunch tomorrow at work so switching rotations (reluctantly) 1/23 - UD - 226.4 1/24 - DD - 228.5 1/25 - UD - 226.4 - this hasn't been my best month ... bit of fatigue, maybe?
