Start Date: Starting Dec 20,2012
I started JUDDing last week. This is my 2nd week I have not lost any lbs. Is that right or does it take a few weeks to get the body settled in ? I am supposed to have dd numbers of 394 and ud numbers of 1964 for light excercise and 1796 for no excercise. Sometimes I go a little over but try to stay under 500 on dd. Will something start to happen or am I doing something wrong...any and all help would be gratefully acccepted.thanks I just want to do this right

Yes, for some people it takes a couple weeks to start working. Don't worry yet. Also most people don't use their exercise calories. I'd suggest sticking to 1796 on your up days.

01/01 - 168.4 - DD - 323 I ate (er drank) back all my exercise calories yesterday. I sure didn't expect a loss with a 2080 calorie day! Probably dehydration, and it may go up tomorrow, but I'm okay with that.

Here are the things I can think of that have helped me. I have to track calories really carefully by weighing food and logging on an online tracker (of course any way of logging will work). I find that it is really easy to get too many calories in a day when I guess at calories. I also find that following the no exercise numbers work better for me and add in calories only on days that I need them if I am exercising a lot. I find that JUDDD is very forgiving when I go over a bit on UD calories but I have to really watch the DD calories carefully or I stall. I think for a few people it takes a while to start losing as I think JUDDD heals the metabolism and if your metabolic rate is quite slow from years of dieting it can take a bit to get it going. I am not sure if this is the case or not but it is my guess. That is all that I can think of but if you post on some of the other threads I am sure you will get lots of help and suggestions. There are lots of JUDDD followers here with lots of great advice but they might not be looking at the weigh in thread if they aren't posting their weights. I know it can be really discouraging to be putting in lots of effort and not see results so to you. Hang in there and I am sure you will figure out how to make this work for you.
