T'was the morn after evening
 

T'was the morn after evening
When elves scurry about
Bringing presents and charcoal
All appropriately divvied out

The cat was all snuggled
Up warm in her bed
While visions of ostrich
Stalked in her head

And I in my t-shirt
Have leaped from my nap
To throw turkey in oven
- Get that temp up asap!

On collards! On croissant!
And rich cheesy gratin!
Chop celery! Chop onions!
Pour gravy thereon!

For a moment I falter
And check in my rush...
Yep, I see only presents
No Charcoal for us!

I wish all of my dear JUDDD BUDDDs
A day of great cheer
Celebrating this season
And a happy New Year!!!
