I might try steak tartar if I thought I wouldn't have to endure the next day being sick. Anyone ever eat that? I am so curious about it.

Mine is going to be pretty boring, either a chinese from the local take away or my mums roast dinner.

I have never eaten out at a nice restaurant so no 'fancy' food to know I would like... the type I've eaten at are burger places and one indian restaurant but nothing else.

WTS, you should treat yourself to a fancy restaurant dinner as one of your goals. Everyone should be treated like a queen once.

Wow, if it weren't for restaurants, I'd starve.

Dawn, you crack me up!! If I didn't know better, I'd think you were single. Do you and dh eat all your meals out? I LOVE restaurants, but I also enjoy trying recipes. You just don't like to cook?

DH cooks, and I can make sandwiches and simple things, but honestly, we eat out more than in. Whenever I've tried a recipe, it's come out okay, but it's just such a hassle. I'm far too lazy to cook AND clean up after, so when we do eat at home, DH cooks and I do dishes. I keep buying all the kitchen gadgets I can find, with good intentions, and then I use them a few times and put them in the cupboard for the next 6 years!

I steam a mean piece of swai in a steam bag in the microwave! That's been my DD dinner lately.

LOL, what is swai? fish? I have the 100 cal salmon packs in the freezer, although when I bought them I wasn't dieting. Wonder how long before freezer burn? hee hee, they are at least 6 months old.

It's fish, the lowest calorie I can find. 4 oz. is 70 calories.

A last meal...hmm. In no particular order:

-- My late grandmother's chicken and homemade noodles
-- Also some of her spritz cookies
-- the Scarpetta recipe for spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce and garlic/basil oil (SO good)
-- a few steamed mussels and crab legs
-- a pitcher of blueberry martinis (Outback recipe)
-- almost forgot a vegetable -- steamed artichoke with Hollandaise

I thought I was the only one that didn't cook but had a DH that did. He got so tired of my boring cooking many years ago that he took over...That's when my weight gain started
