Hi Everyone!!

Hello my fellow Juddd Buddds! It's been a long, long time since I posted in here and now that things have calmed down some; Mom is settled in a wonderful Assisted Living, married life is settling in, new home is all set up and comfy, I decided to come back and give you guys a clue about my eating during all these crazy times the last 6 months.

I stand today at 153.2 pounds. I have gained 20 pounds since my all time low of 133 in November, 2011. Most of this weight is stress related, I believe, and it started coming on strong about the early spring of this year. I stopped counting calories on UDs back in January and I think that started the slippery slope for me. Then in the summer when I had all the family stress I totally just put JUDDD on the back burner and ate what and when I wanted or whenever I could. Not good and more problems than it was worth.

I also found I have a binging problem that I have probably have had for years but didn't really acknowledge. I found that while doing JUDDD and not counting my UDs the binging became totally out of control and I spiraled downward even more when I stopped counting DDs during my troubled times.

I have to count, period! UDs and DDs! But right now I just can't wrap my mind around it so I decided to just let things be for a bit, but come back to my beloved JUDDD forum, and be inspired!

I have missed you all and am so glad to be back! I'm sure I'm missed a lot so to those I have missed, to the happy times and accomplishment of what I may have missed in your lives, and for anyone who may have needed it and I wasn't here to give it to.

Great to see you Linda! It is understandable with all of your major life changes that it would be a struggle to maintain. I think you will be right back to your low when the time is right. Just take care of you for now!

I have thought of you so often! Sometimes reading old threads and seeing your awesome comments prompted me to say a little prayer for your Mom.

Oh how we have missed you Linda! I'm so happy to see this thread! I loved hearing your good news along the way, and after all the hard times last year, it's great to see much happiness in your life!

I think a few people are just maintaining/doing whatever to get through the holidays, and will feel a renewed sense of dedication to counting in the new year. Oh, and there won't be cinnamon rolls around (is that just me? ) LOL.

Enjoy the next few weeks-- not sure about you, but I'm already tired of all the rich foods etc, and I really enjoy my DDs, not having to worry about what to eat or how much.

So, in the opposite of JUDDD logic-- gee, this time of year, we only binge every other day! LOL We can rest and recupe on our DDs.

I just logged in for this time in ages...and yours was the first post I saw!
So glad your mum is doing well, and you and your family are getting settled.
I am still Juddding...combined with Weightwatchers, which I love, and has me maintaining nicely.

Linda! It's so good to "see" you. It sounds like you've had a most interesting year. There must be something in the air - I recently came back to JUDDDing after a very long absence. Many of my issues sound similar to yours except you have had some stressful situations, and I've just been dumb lol. But anyway I am so glad to see you here, and see so many excited and successful "new" JUDDDers - I put "new" in quotes because although you are all new to me, you've been JUDDDing longer than I have and more successful at it! But that is about to change. I am back with a newfound determination.

And I think you are so wise to pinpoint the not-counting on UDs as your trigger - I know that was my issue, and since I stupidly let it get out of control, I've spent the past year and a half way fatter than I needed to be.

Onward and downward!

I'm glad to see you back here, too, Linda! Congrats on your marriage, and I'm happy to hear that your mom is settled into a good Assisted Living place. My MIL is being well taken care of in an AL center, as well, and it sure gives us peace of mind.

You'll get back to where you want to be in no time with JUDDD. I've been letting my UDs get way too out of control, too, and have about five pounds I need to address after Christmas. I know it'll be all right. JUDDD magic is real!
