Nice to hear confirmation from the doctor on what you are doing! Perfect! How wonderful!!!

Funny about the driver's license photos - I dread having another taken, DMV is a pain - and my state made a new rule that we don't ahve to have photo license, UNLESS we have CDL or boat license - and of course I have boat license, so must have photo. I never take a good DMV photo and hate to have to show it ever!

Can't think of any nsv for me - this week I'm having sv instead!

I bought two medium tops today at a yard sale (very nice ones) for a dollar a piece. I thought I'd have to wait to wear them, but they fit! A tiny bit snug, but cute and I would wear them to work.

Great NSVs everyone!! Carly, I remember that post. Wonderful NSV. Elphie, I can't imagine wearing a shirt tucked in, lol. It must be nice! Goner, NSVs are for those of us who aren't having SV's. Clearly, you don't need any!

I took my first outdoor fitness walk in years this morning. It's finally cooled off enough (80*) early in the morning. It sprinkled on me a bit, which was nice. I went for 35 minutes - 2 miles, and it felt great!

I've been embarrassed to walk in my neighborhood because I didn't want to be that poor fat woman walking along - she must be trying to lose weight. I'm over it! I am not poor, and I AM trying to lose weight!

Yay Dawn!!! But so sorry to hear about the aphasia!

I've now done 10 appointments of pt and can feel a bit more endurance and strength in my core muscles.

Oh hurray Carol! Even when I was overly skinny or quite fit, I have never, ever not felt anything but admiration for people putting in effort to achieve something. It's the people in the scooters in the grocery store buying half a dozen bags of chips that I need to work on not judging. Addiction is a terrible thing. And loss of hope - that's terrible too.

You're like a little butterfly emerging from its chrysalis!

Oh, my... that never occurred to me... I walk around my building and at the local track all the time.

Carly, I was wondering if that exercise machine ever worked out for you? Did it continue to bother your back?

I use it several times per week. It usually doesn't bother my back. I'll see this winter when I use it more since outside won't be enjoyable.

Glad that it ended up working for you after all the trouble you went to putting it together Carly!
This winter I hope to spend more time using my home fitness equipment too as it is just such a convenient way to fit in a little exercise.
No real Non scale victories for me yet but I know they are coming soon!

I love this thread!

So glad to see you enjoying the results of your perseverance Cindy.

Amy, tucking shirts in is a big one!

Belts - belts?!!

Carol, lovely to hear how your self-image has so greatly improved.

Dawn, officially declared perfect. Nice!!

My NSV? While writing about my year on JUDDD, I realised that I no longer avoid looking in the mirror while washing my hands.

Some great NSVs lately! Congrats to you all, and I hope they keep coming - along with the SVs too!!!

I have a few NSVs I want to record...

I'm wearing size 10 dress pants today! They are a bit snug in the waist (and getting more uncomfortable as the day goes on); but they fit perfect, if even a little baggy, in the butt & thighs!

I'm wearing a shirt that I could not button last winter... and there's extra room, even buttoned up!

And... I inherited my daughter's old bras. She's 16 and her boobs are growing. I'm 42 and my boobs are shrinking - along with my ribcage!

Scarlett, there was a time I considered size 10 to be perfect for me. I hope I feel like that when I get there! Congrats on ya!!!

I wore my jean dress yesterday, and didn't get as many compliments as when I wore the red dress, but still...wearing dresses, for me, is an NSV in itself!
