That's awesome goner!! I bought a medium top this weekend, but it fits like spandex. I know I will wear it soon though!

I had lunch with family and extended family yesterday. Everyone was commenting on my weight loss and wanting to know how I did it. I have only lost about 5-6 lbs since I saw them last on Mother's Day, but apparently it's much more noticeable.

That is SO great! Enjoy your new clothes!

You make me think....I just bought some Large tops at Kohl's and got one Medium for my family to give me for my birthday in late November. I didn't try it on, but figured I'd be able to wear it by then. Maybe I should try it on?

Thank you for the kind thoughts.

LG - My having smaller "girls" helps with the medium top. I was hiding my midsection in larger ones and JUDDD has helped with enough of that so I feel comfortable - could still use a lot of toning though. AND great that you got positive comments on how you look... so motivating!! And well deserved I'm sure!

Well, I did try on the Medium top and.......it fits! It's a touch snug and a little out of my comfort zone cling-wise, but it's definitely not out of the norm of what women are wearing in terms of fit. I think I'll wait at least another month or two. By then I should be a little smaller, and maybe my mind will be more comfortable with showing off my curves to that extent. I guess I'll have to find something in a Small for my birthday!

Goner, mine is exactly a week after yours, on the 29th!

It is great to hear about all the smaller clothes fitting! The clothing does show our changes even more than the scale does sometimes. I have had a busy summer and have slipped in following my JUDDD rotations (gained weight) but I am sure I will be back into my smaller clothing soon and will have some good news to post shortly. Until then it is nice to read about everyone else's success!

I did the dumbest thing and gave away my smaller clothes! I guess I'll get to buy another new wardrobe if I do lose it all again. I get rid of stuff as soon as I can't use it. That doesn't really go with my cheapness. I hate spending money on clothes

Woops, JB, off to the charity stores for you, I think you call them thrift stores,in the States?

Funny story (in a way), the hat I bought for the wedding last month was in the car waiting to go back for resale at our local charity store, then my neighbour sadly died, so, being black, out it came for another wearing...

Bummer! I'm finding some decent things at Goodwill. I don't go as often as I should to catch the good stuff when it's there. I hope you get some cute new stuff!

So sad about your neighbor. The hat gets another outing though.

Okay, this NSV is goofy, but it gave me a little thrill. My drivers license is from 2000. I was probably at my thinnest then, at 130 (and I still listed 120 on the license!) The photo is me, younger and way thinner. We aren't required to get updated photos for 15 years I think, so it's been the same ever since. All that time I was so heavy I worried when I had to show my license for some reason or another (credit card purchase, the occasional carding at a bar or liquor store, airline flight) that they would truly not believe it was me. So I had developed a little anxiety feeling every time I had to show my license.

When I was at Kohl's the other day, they asked to see my license when I used my credit card. I had that tiny anxiety reaction and then suddenly realized, they won't even question if it's me now!

I'm still pretty far away from what I weighed then, and 120, but it looks like me again! Whew!

Nice one, Carol! And I totally get it, though before I renewed my license last December, I had gone the other way. My license picture was much bigger than I was and said 250 pounds, plus I had long hair. I think I was around 175 or so when I got my new picture and license.

Time for new licenses girls! That's why I had the one re-done in 2000! It hadn't expired, but I had just lost 94 pounds and I wanted to not have the fat girl on it any more.

Ugh... the DMV... it may be worth keeping that picture. I am off on Tuesday, but the thought of going to the DMV- yuck!

I agree with Kissa - thrift shops! I hit on a sale at Goodwill yesterday (10 clothing items for $10) and I walked away with 10 beautiful, name brand, quality items. I was so excited! So excited that I went back later in the day and got 10 more. hehe! I must have tried on over 100 things. It was a long day but so worth it.

This is me today! I am wearing a shirt tucked into my pants with a belt!!! As someone who carries a lot of weight in the hips, thighs & butt, that's a big deal! LOL. I can't remember the last time I wore a shirt tucked in. And it actually looks good. It helps that the pants fit me really well. Too tight pants = Amy looking like a stuffed sausage. LOL!

Just had my appointment with my endocrinologist. All my labs look good. My aphasia is likely permanent, though, which sucks, but it is what it is. On the other hand, she told me NOT to lose any more weight, that I'm perfect, and if I lose more my meds would probably need to be adjusted.
