I got a free T-shirt for donating for Hoxworth last night and decided to pick a size large since I knew I was on the downward path. I tried it on this morning for giggles, and IT FITS!!!! I'm so excited! I remember how sad I was when I had to start wearing extra large. I'll still have to wear extra large in dress shirts I'm sure, but at least I got this one small victory!

Good for you piglet!!! I am wearing Misses Large now too. Some of the large tops I've bought recently at thrift shops, etc. are too snug, but I think they might be cut smaller or juniors. They must be.

Yay! Enjoy wearing it, because it will be too big soon.

Today I put on a shirt that I always just see fat rolls and low and behold it was smooth. Clearly the roll is still there, but the shirt now fits. I get so frustrated sometimes when I don't see scale movement sometimes, but then I see how JUDDD is re-shaping my body and I think "woo hoo, I'm really doing this." Today, I am HAPPY!!!

Thanks All! It was a great feeling.

Two people at work commented on what a good job I'm doing as they've noticed the weight loss. This felt great as I saw my immediate family and two of my best friends this past weekend and no one noticed a thing. I was so annoyed, but I kept saying to myself "you see the difference and that's all that matters."

Lisa, I bet they notice, too. If not, they will soon enough! You're doing great!!!! (sometimes people just don't know what to say and are afraid saying anything will offend, kwim?)

My immediate family doesn't comment on my weight loss much either. It annoys me too, especially when I am so excited to see them after a time apart hoping they *will* notice. Like Flutter said, they do notice but maybe just aren't commenting yet (or they're jealous).

Is this weird?

I am meeting friends this evening. Some of them I only see every month or so. I am REALLY hoping that they will notice and say something(nice!). Plus, I have bought smaller clothes since the last time we met, so I feel like the difference is really noticeable. I hope I am not crushed if they don't say anything.

Ha! Never seen so many made up versions of JUDDD, but proud of people making the commitment.

Chelly's just afraid to change those DD numbers but she's a trooper. I will never steal a crouton from her for fear that I will face the wrath of Chelly.

Actually, no, but I was having so much fun, that I didn't notice until later, so I guess I wasn't that invested in it at the time (only in advance). Which is good!

Great feeling, isn't it!
But regarding your family and friends: Maybe they did notice, but just didn't know how to react or how to address your success. Sometimes, people are just a little bit weird.

And to all the others: It's such a huge motivation to read this thread, it's really amazing!

Could be! I also choose to think that those were my more selfish loved ones. I love them, but the entire weekend was the woe is me show. So I'm going to keep doing my thing and stop looking for the feedback. It only makes me crazy.

Thanks!!

When I started back 9 days ago I was just about to buy a couple of 52" jeans because
my 50" were geting tight. Well with 10lbs gone my jeans are not tight now. It is sort of
funny that if I had bought those larger jeans they would have been too big before I had
had a chance to wear them but a time or 2.
