They are a size 10. I swear I wore a size 10 for about 5 minutes and then gained the weight back, so saved them since they were so new and my only size 10. This morning I dug them out of storage to see how far I would have to go to fit into them for an August goal.

AND..... They FIT! Granted they will look a tad better with another 1/2 inch off my waist (about 2-3 pounds hopefully). But I could NOT believe it. My weight is very different with JUDDD as to where it is coming off first and how I look at my present weight as to before - as I know when those capris fit me last time I was a lower weight.

Another funny NSV I noted last week. I took my belt out to wear that I have been wearing while JUDDDing and noted I needed to move IN a notch and there were NO MORE notches left. I was confused at first as I've never moved down a belt size, or noted such as I lost weight. I thought the belt had a problem. Nope - it was me.
The pants don't lie! (and neither does the belt!)

I should visit this thread more often! I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I so hope I grow up to be my mother! She really doesn't look (or act) 66!

My NSV - just before I returned to JUDDD last month, I had succumbed to wearing extenders on my bra and had let hem out some way...

Today my bra, same size, is done up on the smallest hook!!

Thank you JUDDD!

Vicky, congratulations!! You are doing fabulously!!!

We are all wanting to be like your mom. She is an amazing inspiration as well as a terrific and beautiful gal--inside and out! We are so very lucky she's a JUDDD BUDDD.

Such a wonderful board this is, and the NSV is one of my favorite threads! WTG everyone for such inspiring victories.

Thank you to each and every one of you! When you take the time to post, we all get to share in your joy and celebrate your victories with you.

LOVE all these NSVs!! Kissa, I can honestly say that if I didn't know your age, I'd think you were pulling my leg too!

LCG, I love that you accidentally saw your reflection and was pleased with it. I too know all about avoiding mirrors, reflecting doors and windows, etc. It's so nice to know that seeing yourself accidentally (or on purpose) won't be a bad experience, but maybe even make you feel good about yourself.

I just measured my waist and I'm about one fraction on the tape from being at 32". I had to do something to motivate myself after 3 UDs and water weight gain, lol.

That is something I never used to do. I always thought about it but that doesn't help your body only your mind..funny huh I am not going to fight myself on vaca when I can fix it later

I'm reluctant to over-interpret a data point but that waist measurement possibly indicates some good things about your health and fat deposition and that you're reducing body fat round there.

Flaunt that waist

WOW! That's fantastic Cindy! This is going to make me sound dumb, but where do you all measure your waist? I have always measured it right at my belly-button, but then I hear you're supposed to measure a couple of inches higher at your smallest point?

Being active is a definite NSV grammy! WTG!

Mine today is that I bought a size 12/14 skirt that actually fits! I never thought I'd be in that size, and I do think this sizing is pretty forgiving, but I'm claiming it for now! And it's the first skirt/dress I've had in ages. I'm not sure I have the right shoes for it, so now I may need to get some new shoes too!

Yay Vicky, some of my bras have to be done up on the tightest hook now too. Must be a family thing, lol.

Cindy I love the smaller waist, a sign of improving health too. Well done.

Grammy, good on you getting more active. Never been a golfer, but always think it must be a great way to get into the open air more.

Whoo Hoo! 12/14 skirt, brilliant Carol, now pretty shoe shopping, I'll be right around.

Thanks! I was actually afraid to try, afraid of failing, before today. But today is the 2 year anniversary of my first personal training session so I said what the heck and gave it a try. Surprised myself.

Thanks! This was one of the markers/indications of physical fitness that I have been working towards for a while!

Now I just need to be able to do the same for a pull up which shouldn't be too far off. Actually again with the pull up, I have never tried!

I had to look it up. The main difference appears to be hand placement (pronation versus supination - or the hands facing away from you and over the bar instead of facing toward you and under the bar). They are considered similar and both work the same muscles, but in different ways.

I always thought a chin up worked the biceps and chest more and a pull up was more back and shoulder muscles. When doing assisted chin up vs pull up I always needed more weight with the pull up to do a full set of 8-10 which indicates those muscles were weaker and probably different muscles.

Wow Mike that's fabulous!!!!

Carol awesome news!!!

On the subject of bras...(Mike hide your ears)...if there is one up-side to having a double mastectomy and then having reconstruction...once I heal from each surgery which takes about 3 months, I no longer have to wear any type of support garment. I had been locked into sports bras 24/7 after each surgery. But now I go sans and nobody is any the wiser. LOL, granted the expanders don't jiggle in the wiggle, they are sorta like hard round Barbie boobs (or more like Scooter, her little sister)...but still no bra required...for life! Wooot!

I just read up on it and I was wrong, neither apparently uses chest muscles, and both hit the biceps and back muscles, just in different ways as was already said above. The chin up just more directly uses the biceps and it is common to be able to do a chin up before a pull up. So I'm progressing as expected.
