5" stillettos!!!! DH might not let you wear them for more than a few minutes.

My entire workforce went to a potluck upstairs at lunch today, and I didn't. It was kinda sad, but it was the first time I can remember not participating in a food fest lol.
Thanks sweetie, you are always too kind to me.

AWESOME that you passed up that food at work! I mentioned before that I always picture the germy hands getting in to it all and then I'm good not eating anything.

Slow, I have always had a hard time when offered things by kids. (I'm a sucker when they go door to door selling stuff) It's difficult to learn you don't HAVE to eat when things are offered. I have such guilt saying "no", though!

Yeah, I was as tall as DH (6'3"), but they didn't last long. I wore them to dinner and just the walk from the car to the restaurant and back about did me in! We came home after dinner so I could put on my 4" boots instead. I was much more comfortable. No pictures-we totally forgot to take any, though we did get our wedding ring tattoos, so there are pictures of them on my FB.

I love this thread it's always so inspiring :-) Thanks everyone for sharing your amazing NSVs

I haven't really had anything to post in here until today. I was in the shower this morning and thought oh, there's something odd about my inner thighs! I was amazed to see that they are a different shape than a few weeks ago, they are looking quite shapely! I was very happy

Other changes in just short of 2 months back on JUDDD are a thinner face and my (UK size) 14 jeans are in danger of falling down - another 6 or 7 pounds and i'll be able to fit back into my UK 12s.

When i'm sitting on the wooden chair in the kitchen i don't feel like i have so much padding on my butt - it's getting a bit uncomfortable

I love hearing this, Evie! Slim thighs are a fantasy of mine - I'm not sure I've ever had them, even when thin. And a bony tush? Wonderful!

In the past couple of days I've noticed my upper abs are getting flatter. I've still got a little pooch above my belly-button, and my lower abs have quite a layer, but everything seems to be moving inward a little. I've been waiting for that! I hope it keeps happening. Could be the hula hooping?

Wonderful news, Carol!!! Abs that are shrinking!! Yes, it could be the hula hooping (and a side of JUDDD).

I forgot to mention that I went to the eye doctor on Friday and he said my current prescription was too strong. I haven't been to an eye doctor in over 3 years, so I guess the weight loss has even improved my eye sight!

Wow! Someone else mentioned that her eyesight has improved and she had to have her prescriptions modified, it's looking like JUDDD or the corollaries of your losses may well be contributing to this.

ETA: It was Adi: Non-Scale Victories (Part 2) I've a vague feeling someone else mentioned this as well.

Eyes and ears (both hearing and balance) are surprisingly influenced by our blood sugars because of their responsiveness from moment to moment to what we are doing and their sensitivity to our blood sugar levels. Even if people didn't have clinically dysregulated blood sugar, or were not insulin resistant, I wonder if JUDDD or weight loss/a calorie-cycling regime of some sort so stabilises such things that there are improvements in both eyes and ears.

Enjoy your new frames

How interesting about your eyesight Cindy! I would love it if JUDDD could slow down my need for readers. I used to be able to read anything - the teeniest tiniest print, street signs farther away than anyone else in the car could, etc. It's really annoying to me that I have to "play trombone" to read the print on bottles or packages now!

I love reading these NSVs... I have a few I've noticed lately. I pulled off my capris this past week, without unzipping them. These capris were tight last summer. Also I have noticed less back fat in my t-shirts! I hate back fat and keep a close eye on mine in any tops I put on.

In addition, "something" is working on my achy thumb, which I self diagnosed as arthritus - it's been bothering me for about 8 months - sore, weak and I had stopped doing somethings with it, like holding jar lids, or pulling up my slacks by hooking my thumb into the waist. All of a sudden, two weeks ago I noticed it's back to normal!

Lg, how awesome that your eyesight is better!!!!! That's so cool! I am with LCG, mine is noticeably worse and requiring reading glasses for lots of stuff these days. Of course, perhaps it would have been way worse already without juddding! Good for you!!"!

Goner, woohoo, loose capris and a better thumb!!! Go girl!!!!

I am pretty tickled myself. Yesterday I spent my DD going through my entire wardrobe. I tried EVERYTHING on. Whatever didn't fit went to goodwill last night. Also realized my newish 9/10 jeans were way too big. Today I went and bought the next size down. (7/8) the legs looked so small...I took a deep breath and tried them on anyways. They fit! I am wearing them now and they are just perfect. Wow! I am officially in my smallest sizes of my closet. Even my NWT 6's can be buttoned. (Not comfy enough to wear yet, though)

Wow. I sure do love our JUDDD!!!

Goner, the arthritis is indeed a goner!

Melinda I too had a wardrobe sort today... not quite a successful as yours. My skinny dress is not fitting... but most things are just fine. Vicky was my assistant in this and was quite firm, "Mother, no, get rid of it!" talk. Very good for me, and for the charity shops.

I have every 2X and 3X pack up in storage. I won't even have my rings sized. I really admire everyone who has donated every thing. I think on my 1 yr anniversary of maintenance I'll have a 'so long too big clothes' party.
