I posted in the daily chat thread that my stupid dog got run over by my d*** horse & ended up with a broken foot.
Anyway, I knew it was bad when it happened. I ran into the house to change, grabbed a pair of jeans off the stack and whipped them up, buttoned and moved on with my evening. Lounged around in said jeans all night, curled up in the chair, all over the floor with the poor broken pup. It wasn't until I took them off to get ready for bed that I realized I'd grabbed my single pair of size 10 jeans! I guess when they're actually comfortable and I don't even notice, that's a good sign!!!

Wow, Yennie, that's awesome! Sorry to hear about your dog, though. Hope they're on the mend soon!

I have the same type of NSV. Tried on a size 14 last night that I haven't been able to wear in about three years, and they fit! Well, they were slightly tight, but not unbearable. Counting it!!

I would love it if my chin hairs would take a hike! Yay for a thinning face!

This morning my co-worker said "Wow, I'm noticing the difference."

Then a client this morning stopped my entire group session midway through to say "You've lost weight." I brushed it off and then she said "No, mam you definitely lost weight. You been trying?"

It was nice to hear. I've been having a rough week mentally and that feedback made me feel great.

Oh Lisa, that's fantastic! I love your client refusing to let you blow it off! I like her!

So have you ever been folding or hanging up laundry and realized all of a sudden that you can't believe you can fit it the clothes you are actually wearing? I had that this morning. I was folding some knit pants, and as I held them up I had an instant of "No way I can fit in these!" Well, I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks and I can actually hold an inch or two on each side. Crazy body images!

I'll be donating another bag or two of clothes this weekend. I love doing it. My only fear is that the IRS is not going to believe the large amount of clothing donations I have last year and this!

One thing that is bugging me (and it already seems like I am strange lol), is that people who used to act like they didn't see me on campus, now act like they're offended if I don't gush and go out of my way to greet them now (that I'm about 30 lbs lighter).

The funny thing was I had changed three times that morning because everything felt too small. So it was surprising and very much appreciated.

I have to give a training at METRO at 11:30 and then I'll be back to order sushi and sit on the deck for like... 20 minutes. I swore I would take lunch every Friday this spring and summer and I'm gonna do it!!!! (Bring on the gossip!)

I'm loving these NSVs!

My NSV today-- I'm feeling better.

I have my big client conference/user group starting on the 11th, and I was planning for it all year. I got derailed the last 2 weeks, so my NSV is that I feel more like myself, and I *do* care about what I"m eating/not eating again.

I took some long walks with Haka last week, and this week, I'm walking on my own a bit, so I'm going to keep that up as long as it's not too hot.

Had a few today, which I needed since the scale hasn't been very nice to me lately. Course, I haven't been very nice to JUDDD - kinda 1/2-ing my DDs - doing rice & potatoes but then adding in something else & going over. UG! And I think its time to recalculate my numbers.
Anyway, took the horse down the road for conditioning trot sets today & decided to wear my protective vest (first spring outting, you know). Last 2 years its been a really tight squeeze to get it zipped, the girls were squished & in general I could not wait to get out of it. Today it was so comfy, easy to zip & didn't think about it once. By time Montana rolls around I may have to tighten the laces!
Second, it was a 45 minute conditioning ride and I was fit enough to handle all of it. Never stopped for me, always for the horse to have a break. I've not been doing anything really to improve my own fitness (which I should be doing) so this is all from carrying less weight.
Third, when I was drying off after my shower I noticed I actually have a bit of hamstring definition. The muscle is no longer so covered in flab that any shape is hidden.
That's the good news...
The down side of the post-shower examination:
So I've always been curvy, and from the front, my hips have rounded quite "nicely" into my saddle bags, down the side of my thighs and tapering off at the knee. I have "skinny person legs" from about 2" above my knees on down. Ok, fine. Well, now I'm losing fat in that nowhere zone of low hip/high thigh so I have 2 very unsightly bulges instead of a smooth line. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like that I'm losing fat and my thighs & hips are shrinking but could it not all depart at an even pace from each location? Not that I'm anywhere near swim suit ready but I would have been more likely to wear one 25# ago than I would now with this bit of lovelyness! Ah, well, I guess my only option is to keep losing and they'll go away cuz I'm sure not gaining it back (oh, please God I don't want to gain it back!!!!) to smooth things out!

Yennie, for the comfortable vest and the stamina and the hamstring definition! I agree, the unevenness you're seeing now is temporary as the storage areas empty out here and there, and some are gone and some will be gone in the future. Why isn't it even? I want to know that too!

WTG Yennie! It feels so good to be able to wear something comfortably that had been previously snug! Great job on feeling better, too! No doubt the fat loss will smooth out soon and you'll be ready for that swimsuit!!!

Well done on the extra long ride/training!!! AND, the skinny vest. I'm not too happy with my thighs either, but it will sort itself out eventually or else we can start doing lunges! (after about 2 or 3 of those, you will be much happier with the way your legs look, as opposed to having to do more of them! )

Yennie, I had to laugh...I was so thrilled to see my tummy going relatively flat...then I notice my waist is thinner...then i realize my already petite bustline is starting to go...what the heck?? There's so much fat in so many places, like those lumps that give me SquareButt...and my lovely, draping BeerBack . i don't get a vote in this??? UNFAIR!!!

I literally just laughed out loud. Got awkward looks from the boys and an eye roll when I would not explain.
Love this!!
