I been thrilled at how fast the first 30lbs fell off, think im a bit spoiled now because,I've been playing with the SAME 2lbs for 2 weeks and feeling frustrated.I knew it would eventually have to sloooow down but I was seeing 5lbs a week for quite awhile. and I LIKED it!I'm actually pretty happy where im at(some 29 jeans-some 31)but would LOVE to be a solid 28.
I figure 15 to 20 more lbs to goal.
I do LOVE being a Grandma- Its like having my babies back(teens are another story all together although my DDs are my BFFs)
Funny because me being a G-ma and having peoples eyes bug out when they hear it because they tend to think I'm my DDs older sister has the opposite effect on me,makes me feel young!!lol
You really do look way too young to be G-ma x6!

Small NSV: I've had to chuck out some fairly new knickers and buy some a size smaller.
Smaller knickers! The knickers don't lie!!!

Hi JUDDD BUDDDs! I haven't posted in a while, but have been reading up on everyone's NSV and wow! I love coming here for inspiration!

I'm almost at my one year JUDDDiversary (4/1). I'm no where close to where I want to be and it seems my losses have completely stalled for the last few months. I've been great on sticking with my rotations, but my UDs have been UUADs more than not and I'm sure that is why no weight loss. In the last week I have cut back on sweets and some carbs and have been trying to eat more healthy fruit and veg. So far I feel great and actually in control of my UD calories! No weight loss yet, but of course it is TOM so that can be wacky anyway.

Just wanted to stop by and say and great job on the NSV. Love this thread!

Hi Jade.
Glad to see you post. I had the same thing happen last year with too many UD getting too up! I'm working on sticking to my numbers. Today not so good but more days are good than not. Good luck! We can do this!

Well, I'm glad yesterday's "NSV" was acceptable. Because today I had a meltdown. Seriously. I weigh today what I did January 2. My scale got an earful.

My midsection feels flatter, but seriously, I am still not a happy camper.

We can do this! I would have never imagined that UDs are what I struggle with and DDs are (usually) easy. I've started keeping food diary again which I hate doing, but I'll give it a go.

Woo! Had a Nsv at the dentist office!

1) got a refund due to insurance error being fixed

2) I'm just lying there, wearing a baggy long sleeve t and baggy-ish jeans...and the hygenist (who I see each time) says: you look like you've lost weight.

I'm like, ya.
She asks, what are you doing, walking more?
I'm like, no! Alternate day fasting! 2000 one day, 500 the next, it's awesome, google dr Johnson, etc.

Woo hooo! Feeling clean toothed and riding a little high

Jade, feeling great and in control is absolutely an NSV! Bask in it baby!

Nilla, a smaller midsection trumps a lower number on the scale any day in my book. I know, I'm just as obsessed as anyone about the number, but seriously, this is all about looking and being smaller!

Soren, I think one of the best NSVs is when people are noticing! And that you're comfortable sharing JUDDD with them is so great (I'm not quite there yet ). You're doing it!

As you guys know, I've been struggling a bit this month with the scale. I'm so close to 100 pounds lost, and I guess I've gotten a bit obsessed with that landmark. All your wonderful and supportive posts have REALLY helped me so much, and I've gained a new perspective about it. I know that after this much loss, my body is regrouping, and I may not lose (pounds) for a little while. But I really have come to terms with the scale not moving for now, and I know I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and trust it all. That's definitely my NSV.

I have also been noticing that my hips are looking slimmer and smoother. Part of that, I'm sure is the Callanetics I've been doing. But I've been pleased with the way my jeans are fitting and my shirts lie lately. I measured this morning, just to prove to myself that stuff is still happening, and I've lost over 8 inches so far this year, and since I started losing in January of 2012 I've lost 50 inches. I'm claiming that!

this is such a great NSV.

You are doing so brilliantly and I am delighted that you are accepting the scale number not being quite what we all want.

Well, I made it out of the gourmet grocery store without buying any Easter candy! They have a spectacular Sweet Shoppe and of course all the Easter candy looks crazy yummy! I walked through the candy area and just kept on walking! I did not need a huge bag of candy! My big butt and skinny wallet will thank me LOLOL I did buy an UD treat though. One individually wrapped slice of lemon pound cake from their bakery. I figured it was better than buying a whole cake!

Lcg wow! Great success, on and off the scale. The rest will come. I have a friend who is barely 5ft tall, maybe 100lbs, soaking wet. YOU are no longer carrying Melissa around with you every day!
Yes- after doing that for years, let your body have a breather, and woo hoo on the shaping you're doing in the meantime!

Kismet- I have enough candy for all of us . Save yours for new clothes!!!

My 2 today are kinda related:
1) Started a pile for the donation bin of too big things, mostly pants & jeans
2) Was willing to put some certain pants in the dryer. Previously they were so borderline that trying to wear them post-dryer threatened to cut off circulation. But they're in there so we'll see how it goes when I try to wear them. Even being willing to put them in there is a NSV!
Course, today was kinda out of control so I may wait a few days before trying to wear them.
