I am much more flexible now days. Last night I was down on the ground helping my little goatie have her babies and after I had to pull the fist one, I grabbed the baby, wrapped her in a towel and headed for the house with her. Getting up from my knees holding a baby goat without help would have been impossible last year. I bounced right up last night. It is so nice not worrying about having someway to pull yourself up.
I love being able to do things that I struggled with the past few years due to an extra 40 pounds hanging around.

And congratulations to all on smaller sizes too.

My watch is touching new skin (always the first thing I notice when the weight begins leaving) and my jeans feel all loosey goosey!

Adi, popping up and down easily is a great one! How nice to not even have to think about it, your body just does what you want. I'm not quite there yet, but it's a lot better than it was a year ago!

Jaymar, it is not hard to stay around here after reaching maintenance, everyone is so much fun! I am sorry your pain is so bad, but your attitude is so positive. Great post lady. It is lovely having you here with us.

LOL!! Jbinme and hot-in-texas -- I keep buying dresses, because I love the look and then NEVER wear them. I have a closet full of cute dresses that are just a wee bit tight, maybe 10 pounds away from wearing and some that would fit now but I just don't have confidence in my legs. I am starting to use the tinted moisturizer on my legs now so I can build a bit of a tan and won't be so pallid this spring -- that gives me a bit more confidence to bare my legs (worst feature for me). Maybe this will be our summer of dresses! Great excuse to go out and buy the quite necessary, even required, shoes to make those dresses work-- don't you think?

Janette, TJ, this is our summer! YAY!

Today, at lunch I changed pants from a pair of black pants to a pair of black capris-(It's 80 degrees here today!). This is a giant step for me, last year i could not wear any of my capris. And I stopped buying clothes for myself(spring/summer clothes) over 5 years ago. I am wearing them and I don't feel self conscious at all

DW is African American so even after all these years she is suprised by the end of the winter at the sheer pastiness of my skin tone

The problem is if I don't wear 50 SPF sunscreen I look more like a lobster!!!!

She gets a beautiful toasty tan and I need aloe!

Yes, but you can get away with no lotion if you forget it for some reason!

I have a couple of African American exes, and I loved razzing them about ashiness.

Today I wore full briefs instead of minis, so my favourite old jeggings had something to grip instead of falling down in the supermarket!

I think it's time I admitted defeat and passed them on to charity!

These are all great!!!!!!!!!!!!! My NSV for today....my muffin top on my ring finger has finnaly shrunk enough for me to get my wedding ring off!!! So I took it to get cleaned...its been awhile

Momma on rings getting looser! That's a fun one, nothing like looking down at your hands and not recognizing them because they're getting slender.

And Carly, Miss Success Story, resize those rings and get rid of those clothes! You have done it, and you'll never need those baggy old large clothes again. You deserve it!

I went shopping this morning. On a whim, I grabbed some size 10 jeans and size medium tops, just to see how much more I'd need to lose if I wanted to wear them in public. I'm currently wearing both, and going to a jewelry party in a little while. So, um, yeah . . . they fit!
