I had yet another leg related NSV. I can cross my legs x3 again!!!! I couldn't cross then period a year ago now I can cross over, tuck the crossed leg under and wrap the foot around. I used to always sit that way, but as I packed on the pounds that was out of the question. I had forgotten about that completely and yesterday I just did it instinctually and it shocked the heck out of me!

THIS!!! Truly inspiring, Carly! That's one of the things I gave up being able to do years ago...now, I cross my ankles and remember that my grandmother said it was more lady like lol. Only because I can't cross one leg over the other knee!!! I know I will have made it when I get there!

Here's a sort of minor one: I'm wearing a tshirt I bought on vacation in DC * at a great BBQ restaurant...they only had women's XL.
It didn't fit, so I put it away, bottom of the pile... Today, I pulled it out and... Slim fit, but it totally fits! Not sausage-y at the arms, just form fitting and nice.

Hill country BBQ , btw...so amazing, and one in NYC also

When you have as much weight to lose as I do, it is a sizeable loss before you get to where people actually begin to notice that you are losing weight. This is especially true with those people that see us on a regular basis. DH on the other hand, sees that I fix his breakfasts and dinners on DDs and do something dramatically different for myself. He appreciates that I want us to be able to do things that my weight keeps us from enjoying. We used to travel a great deal. A coach seat on an airplane is out of the question for me currently, but I can see it clearly returning later during this year! I am tired of feeling invisible. I am tired of feeling unworthy. I am tired of feeling unwell. I am tired of feeling bad about myself. I am tired of having others feel sorry for me. JUDDD is helping me to erase all of these negatives. Bit by bit, rotation by rotation, these things are changing and beginning to evaporate. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I am so thankful for this WOE and for all of you wonderful JUDDD BUDDDs! Have a terrific day today!

Kimmie
Kimmie you are doing so wonderfully with this WOE.. I hope you did go out and buy something very pretty and flattering for yourself. DH sounds like a wonderful ally for you. He notices what you are doing for yourself, and the positive choices you make for yourself everyday. One of these days , people are going to look at you and be like, wow! You have lost so much weight! I have felt the things you describe too. But, We ARE worthy! Extremely worthy

Sher, Carly, Yam-Yam fantastic NSVs!!!

OMG Kimmie! That's two awesome NSVs – both your wonderful DHs recognition of your efforts and also your new-found change of heart.

Yay Soren. Smaller t-shirts!!

Congratulations everyone with newly rediscovered crossable legs!

This week I amazed myself because I tried on some low-rise skinny jeans (normally a muffin-top no-no!) and they were too big round the waist!!
So I had to buy a size smaller skinny jeggings instead.

Congratulations to all of the smaller sizes fitting!!!

I posted on the DD menu for Saturday and noticed that Mom23kids is 137 pounds and 5'6" and wearing size 6 jeans. Hmmm. I am 140 and 5'7" and I have been wearing my size 10 jeans since they are so baggy and comfy and can't find my size 8 jeans. I have several size 6's in my closet so I pulled out a pair and yes I can wear them. Perfect fit. I am going for a 30 minute walk and I am going to wear them just because. Got my shoes all laced up and I am going to brave the wind although the temps are very nice. Exercising in a fasted state is supposed to do more so here's hoping.

I haven't been on this thread in a while and had forgotten how much it made me smile. All of you are such amazing women

My NSV for the day involves us going to see my first grader in a school play. My 2 year old was acting up so DH took her out to calm her down and let her run. When he came back he couldn't find me!!! Apparently he walked past me several times but had forgotten "how skinny I look" and was instead looking for the big fat women holding his kid I guess
