And Shari and everyone else that is getting smaller. Me included.

I have a picture on my refrigerator from before DS was born. It is at a goat show and has the date of 1987 and I am holding a goat in my show whites and I am slim and trim. I was decluttering some today and was going through a box of old show whites and found the pair of pants that I have on in the frig pic. Just for grins I tried them on and they fit. In fact if they did not BUTTON up the side (inside the pocket) I would take them to the show next week and wear them. That many buttons would not work at my stage in life. Maybe I could put in a zipper? But not now I have too much to do.
So I can safely say I am the size I was BEFORE DS was born 23 years ago. Now that didn't take long to get back into pre pregnancy shape did it?

I took the stairs down to the garage and back up with shopping bags (new shoes- 2 great pair of great black stilettos for me and sneakers for DW) I practically ran up the stairs and not the slightest bit out of breath!!!! That was not easy 70 pounds ago.

Adi, that's wonderful!!! I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight not long after my youngest was born 25 years ago. Then, when I had my hysterectomy when he was 3, I ballooned up & kept going up!! I'd have to lose 15 more pounds to be back there! Who knows, maybe I'll get there eventually. I'm not trying to; but, it wouldn't hurt my feelings! lol

Carly, it's so wonderful to notice when daily life activities become easier! I bet you feel fantastic now!!!

Adi, wonderful news that you can wear those skinny pants again! Is it sinking in that you are as thin & beautiful as you were in that earlier picture? CAUSE YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what I was able to do yesterday? Wear all my size 12 shorts/capris that I had in mind for Disney over Easter! I literally tried these on again a week or so ago and they did not fit. I could pull them up but no way could I close them enough to get near the buttons. I'm only down 1-2# since then so I am super shocked that they fit? WEIRDNESS, but I'll take it!

Try that stuff on regularly! I missed a lot of stuff since the scale didn't move that much I thought I wasn't losing, but inches were disappearing!

Carly, I remember you saying that so I have indeed been trying on my size smaller stuff every week or so. I'm glad you mentioned this before because it is indeed very true! I am in shock I was able to easily button them with so little scale difference. Makes no sense!

hello, I have a NSV! Yesterday, I ran into an old boyfriend at the supermarket. Normally I would have hid and ran down a different aisle or something, because I was ashamed of my looks, but yesterday I walked right up to him and said hello. He said "you look great"! And he sasid it several times through out the conversation

thanks LCG and Kissa. When he said I look great, it was in comparing to the last time he saw me, which wasn't so great, anything but great. The best part is not hiding. And to be proud of who I am right now. I have a long ways to go to truly, look my best but in the meantime, I like not being embarrassed of how I look!!

I am so thankful to have found JUDDD

Well, I can't run up or down the stairs in my stilettos, but I can do the stairs, because in fire drills at work we can't use the elevators and I never go to work sans the stilettos!
