Cindy, that's a really good one! Increased energy is fantastic. Even more so, is not feeling draggy and exhausted all the time. Like feeling "normal". This one by itself is reason to JUDDD, IMO!

"Wellllll, look at you!!" I love it! Shirt tucked in.......I don't understand that concept. It's been awhile since any shirt of mine has ventured inside of a waistband. Can't wait!

My fancy dinner out

So some of you guys have read me talking about my continuing ed dinner last night at the fancy restaurant, and how yesterday was supposed to be a DD, and how was I going to handle it.

My plan was potatoes all day until 3pm, liquids 3-7pm and dinner at 7pm. I was not going to eat anything that wasn't totally yummy, and try to stay out of the bread basket.

What actually happened: no alcohol, even the free wine. Just water. 1 slice of bread with a bit of butter (it was warm sourdough...I couldn't help myself). Salad with a vinegrette (thankfully not a heavier cream based dressing) with a few almonds, cucumber & tomato. Ate it all. Dinner was a fillet of lingcod, some potatoes and spinach. I don't know what they did to the spinach but YUM! There was a sauce, not sure what it was, but light (which I realize does not mean its not loaded with calories). Ate it all too. Then they brought out dessert. It was in large crocks, an apple crisp and it was FANTASTIC!! OMG, I thought I was going to pass out with the first bite, it was that good. But here's the thing, and the reason I'm posting here - I ONLY ATE ABOUT 1/4 OF IT!!! Yep, I stopped eating the dessert because I was full!!! I left food on my plate!!! (This is huge for me!!)

So I'd planned the next 2 days as PDDs to "get over" my big night out. I felt surprisingly unbloated this morning so even though I was not going to weigh, I did and I'm down to 188.0 pounds. The lowest I've been since starting JUDDD, and this was with a bounce up to 191 on Monday after an UUAD on Sunday.

So that, my friends, is the power of JUDDD and the SIRTs! I stopped eating something yummy because I was full, and even with a big meal on a DD, I'm still losing.

I love JUDDD!!!!!

Jen, that is simply wonderful, brilliant, you enjoyed the meal and stopped when you had had enough. You know that something as delicious will be on you menu again soon enough, such a great feeling.

Beverley, is that you you gorgeous woman? Wow.... what a beauty.

Thanks for the inspiring report, Yennie! I think that JUDDD really can help drive home to us the idea that we don't have to eat every good thing right now because tasty food will be there tomorrow or next time we are hungry and can truly enjoy it.

Okay, so confession time here. I totally pictured you differently Beverly! The only Beverly I know in real life is in her 60s and doesn't take care of herself. I never even realized until I saw how beautiful you are, that I was picturing you sort of like her, but a newly thin version of her. Oh how our subconscious minds work!

Can you teach lessons on how to not eat ALL of your dessert! For me, that is one of the biggest NSV's!! I just don't order one when I can't eat the whole thing! You are my hero!

Shari, you are just full of positive news!!! So happy for you! I haven't tucked a shirt in, in years! I really don't like the look of tucked in shirts on me anymore, but I'd like to be able to wear a blouse that stops at the waist and not have to wear something "blousy" to cover my hips and tummy.

Confession time...

So I suppose that I should confess that, by the time the lovely apple crisp rolled around, my poor stomach had pretty much revolted at eating that much food in one sitting. It was easier to resist when my stomach was screaming at me to STOP!!!

But I suppose that, too, is good. I'm learning to eat in moderation and to listen to my body's signals, and respect them.

Confession #2 - I looked, hard, for a to-go container to take the rest home in. Sadly, I was unsuccessful. If I had, I would have given the rest to my boys...really, I would have!

It's funny that you mention that! I've started putting all of my long tailed shirts/tops in the back of my closet! lol! If I was smart, I'd cut 'em off & hem them.

Still playing "catch up" on everyone's NSV's but it looks as tho' everyone has been receiving one or another....good for you all. I've a simple one

One word ..... Cinnabon

Well, make that two words .... Guilt-free Cinnabon

I just shared one with a friend, my first is over two years and I can only say...it was delicious.

And, yep, I fit into those size medium pajama jeans I bought when I started this woe. I tried them on the other day and they fit...still a bit tight, tighter than I like my jeans, but I could wear them...so let's hear it again...the pants don't lie!!!

Wish I'd bought another pair, they r sold out now.
