And I don't feel the least bit cranky or weak on a DD; I was happily humming as I energetically put away the delicious food that I won't be eating today.

Thank you for sharing this Sven and congratulations! I love hearing this from you, I think you have been JUDDing longer than I, and it is good to hear that you are feeling so empowered this far into it. Congratulations again!

Lovely NSVs, but oh boy you have me thinking donuts now. When I was a child there was a little stall in town on a Saturday morning where the ring donuts were cooked in front of you. I can smell that smell even now, 60 years later.

But, today is a DD and "Hunger is not an emergency." Thank you JUDDD.

I completely relate to this. I can smell the doughnuts too. Isn't the power of smell amazing? The memories it can trigger? I was four years old when my great grandma babysat for me and she used to make these amazing ginger cookies. I can STILL smell that incredible scent to this day.

the scent of any Loves Baby Soft colognes bring me right back to my childhood. Especially the Rain scent. It was my favorite.
regarding food...the smell of baking bread always brings me back.

It's funny, but kind of nice, that after a few months of eating lowcarb faithfully, I was able to enjoy scents like baking bread and fresh doughnuts without feeling that I really wanted to eat those things. The scents were pleasant, and brought back some memories, but even though I was surrounded by fresh baked bread or fresh doughnuts, I was fine just having my coffee with cream. (One of the coffee houses I visit is in a bakery and another is in a "Doughnut Co-op.") It's rather like enjoying the scent of lilacs without feeling a longing to taste the flowers. But for those of you who have bread and doughnuts on your up days, I wish you lovely smells and much enjoyment, too.

I haven't been in this thread in ages, but it's an UD and I smelled donuts.

So, we all know I've had trouble getting JUDDD to kick in. But, the scale is beginning to show signs of moving and I have an NSV to share. The last couple of days, while walking around in my nightgown/robe, the tippy top of my thighs feel smoother.

In other words, they're not rubbing together quite as much!!

Now - who hid the donuts?????

Had the bavarian "Cupid's Choice" donut instead of the brownie dough one. My stomach is still protesting (since lunchtime). I cannot recommend it, unless you are a die-hard bavarian creme lover. Still, probably wouldn't recommend this one.

The scent of cheap strawberry lipgloss brings me back to my early teens. I don't smell it very often!

I started having that feeling early on when I started JUDDDing. For the first time in my life I am actually losing thighage!

My NSV is that someone came up to me at work yesterday and said ' I hope you dont mind me asking but have you lost a lot of weight?'........of course I didnt mind!!! In fact it made my day!!

Congratulations, Jacci! We had a friend who lost a lot of weight and OH told me saying, "I didn't want to say anything." Why not? She knows she lost weight and I'm sure she'd be pleased to have you say how great she's looking.
