Has anyone else been haunted by the donut commercials for "brownie batter donuts"? OMG I can't stop thinking about them. So far have I resisted but I don't seem to be alone. My staff at the office keeps talking about them, how just the name compelled them to go buy them. they have appeared twice now at the office. Thankfully they disappeared quickly but what evil genius decided to make that pairing???

That is wonderful, Cindy! Gosh, I hope that happens for me ; I have sleep apnea and have snored all my life. I can't get used to wearing one of those machines with a mask, and I've been hoping that JUDDD and losing weight will make my snoring/sleep apnea somewhat better.

Brownie batter donuts???? Who makes them? Every once in awhile I want donuts, but brownies are indeed hard to pass up! Yikes!

I love medicinal eclairs!!! Wish I could have had one, too, Dawn! The chocolate still had me 200ish under cals yesterday! Crazy to have a sandwich for lunch, pizza for dinner and still be under. what other WOE can boast that?

I've been using medicinal Hershey Kisses at the end of the last couple of UDs myself. Ah, the curative powers of a kiss.

I had to skip over all the brownie donut talk. I always fast forward through food commercials! And, I look away if I'm watching a movie and there is a dining scene with beautiful plated food. If I look, I'll drool. If I drool, I'll jump up and run to the kitchen for something.....anything!

Donuts are EVIL!!! I'm telling ya!! They are EVIL!!! I could eat my weight in glazed, plain ol' glazed.......holes or whole!! Luckily, the brownie batter donuts sound like cake donuts & they appeal only as a last resort for me! LOL!!

I agree about the glazed but I can take the cake ones or leave them. More likely to leave them.

Just want everyone to know that I fell asleep thinking about donutslast night, and even convinced myself that I'm going to go get a chocolate cake donut ths morning(1i know no body likes those, but it is just what I'm craving this morning). They're around 275 calories. We don't have a Dukin Donut here. Thank God!

We have a couple of DD's here, but none close to my house. However, there is one very close to my work, but I forget it is there because it is in the opposite direction from the way I go into town or home. I doubt I'll forget next week.

I have a Dunkin Donuts half a block a away. I could walk to it in under 5 minutes including the slow elevator ride downstairs!!!
Good thing the donuts only sound good after 9pm on DD when I'm not so moved to go walking in the 10 degree air! Maybe that is a NSV!

What the heck... I came to catch up on the victories and I came across posts about doughnuts! OMG.Got me thinking about my favorite apple fritters with glaze. I love Dunkin Donuts. When I used to live in Colorado, a group of us would meet late at night and eat doughnuts and drink coffee.

MY NSV is that after reading this thread, I am not running out for a doughnut!

I think they LOOK adorable! I always get disappointed when I have a donut these days, though. They never taste as good as they look. The first thing I thought when I saw the photo was how cute they'd be tiny for DD's American Girl doll food. LOL!

How cute! You must have daughters.

My parents owned 3 donut shops after my dad retired, Daylight Donuts. They made all kinds of wonderful things. Chocolate covered rosettes were like soft fried cinnamon rolls with a tiny bit of cherry, glazed, and dipped in the best chocolate.
I DID go get a donut this morning. I got a chocolate cake donut, no icing, a small coffee no cream, and I brought my book and took 30 minutes to eat it. Extremely satisfying. Plus it was fun to watch all the moms and dads with their little kids, who were sooo excited about their donuts!

We just got a new Dunkin Donuts in town. It looks nice from the outside but I have yet to visit. I just don't go there that often. The old one was about 2 miles from my house but I didn't go there much either. They are supposedly opening a cupcake bakery up the road...I could easily walk. I guess I will challenge myself to walk there if I want a cupcake badly enough LOL They are probably the really fattening yummy ones too!

My NSV today is that I went shopping for food at my local food coop (which is like a grocery store with an emphasis on organic/local food) toward the end of a DD and--ta da--although things smelled wonderful, I was satisfied just taking a spoonful of the broth from the wonderful deli bar cassoulet and a single square of high cocao chocolate when I got home. I am looking forward to having the cassoulet warmed up at work tomorrow, but I'm perfectly content to wait until then.

It's wonderful that JUDDD DDs teach me that hunger is not an emergency, that my hunger is mild (given that I'm probably eating under 200 calories today), and that I have no sense of urgency about eating tasty food--because tomorrow is an UD! And I don't feel the least bit cranky or weak on a DD; I was happily humming as I energetically put away the delicious food that I won't be eating today.

I loooove how JUDDD makes me feel.

That is an incredible NSV.. It should be a tag line- hunger is not an emergency
