Blabbermouth!!!

The last one he gave me, I put it on to run stock my booth at the craft mall and did not realize how HUGE it was on me until I saw my refelction in the window of the craft mall. Yikes!!! He doesn't wear T-shirts usually so I get all of them. He has lost a lot of weight without trying so surely they could give him a large rather than an XL but NO. He is too nice to complain.

![]() Cleaned out my closet this weekend and SO, who has also lost a lot of weight, did the same. We did lament some of the nice clothes that we loved, but not for long - they go to Goodwill; now that I've found JUDDD, don't expect to ever need them again. On any other weight loss plan, I would have held onto the clothes, and needed them in a year or two ![]() JUDDD ![]() |

TJ, please try them both on & let us see a picture! Somehow, I don't think your DH would ask you to wear it if it didn't make you look like a million bucks!!
Adi, t-shirts & jeans in the winter & t-shirts & shorts in the summer!! That's almost all I wear anymore. Once in a while I'll throw on a pretty top with my jeans! My granddaughters like to wear my t-shirts to sleep in when they come to visit. Now, they may not be so big! Luna, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!! ![]() Carly, I've done that with some of my clothes! Especially if I decide I haven't really lost that much!! ![]() Luv, I cleaned my closet out today, too! I guess I'm not as sure as most of you are.........I put them in space saver bags & put them in the very back of my closet where I can't see them! Maybe one day I'll get rid of them.

I've gotten rid of a few 3x, but not much else! Even though I feel like JUDDD is forever doable, I'm just too chicken. I also put all of it in shrink bags and up high in the spare closet. I don't really even like that much of it. It's like my rings. I won't get them sized yet, because I'm afraid it will be a jinx so they are on my middle fingers

Ugh, I cleaned out my closet the last time I got to goal weight. Boy did I regret that decision!
Needless to say, I'm going to be doing the shrink wrap thing this time, too. I'll get rid of them if I can maintain a good while for once! I am hopeful... |

Saw a friend last night who complimented me so kindly. She said how amazing that I have 'taken back control' of my body and basically held the weight off for 12 years.
It is interesting, because I gained back 10 or 12 pounds back a year or so, I had sort of forgotten that so many people don't really see those gains. To them I lost 60 odd pounds and it has stayed away. I know that I am even smaller now but the fact that I am now 'seen' as a slim woman still amazes me. |

I just posted this on the daily weigh in thread, but today I looked at myself and I looked thin
- in good way! I have not really seen someone thin staring back in a number of years. I must say I'm fully clothed, but none the less I look like I have a flat stomach and thin little legs and arms. The NSV is seeing myself as I actally am- as others see me. |

At last! I've had time to catch up with this thread and what an inspiring read it's been: JBs taking back control of their life and their health; JBs with vastly improved self-image; JBs realising their scales have been hiding the truth from them.....
Awsome! Carly, now you're officially thin, you might want to think about losing those shrink bags in the loft!! I have an NSV of my own today: Last time I was even close to this morning's weight, I'd just come back from a month's retreat. I'd eaten very pure healthy food – no sugar, very little bread, no tea, coffee or alcohol. We had breakfast and dinner, with only fruit for lunch. I also did a three-day complete fast in the middle of the retreat, which had me feeling very weak and wobbly by day three. I did yoga twice a day and walked back and forth several times to my dorm at the top of a steep hill, which probably totted up two or three miles a day. On my return, assuming the weight loss would continue, I optimistically bought some skinny jeans that I could only just get into. They fitted beautifully round my bum but I knew I'd need to dress carefully to hide my muffin top and mummy belly. (OK, granny belly!) I never did wear them. My optimism was unfounded and my weight crept back up enough for the jeans to languish in the back of a wardrobe. This morning, I decided to do a wardrobe check and I re-discovered them. Guess what?! They're actually a bit big round the waist, there's very little mummy belly and no muffin top whatsoever. The huge difference is that this time, I have had caffeine, alcohol, Christmas cake …... I even lived on bread and cheese for three weeks last month when life got too hectic. (I absolutely do not recommend doing that!! Veggies rule, ok?!) I have done no exercise whatsoever and I've never felt faint and wobbly. I guess I must have lost visceral fat - quite a lot of it! - and am therefore much healthier than the last time I was at this weight! Even better, I know that my midriff doesn't ever need to gradually expand again. I'm hoping that I'm very close to the point when I can go on maintenance and keep my amazing new JUDDD waist for the rest of my life, with very little effort. That's definitely JUDDD magic! If you've been struggling with the scales recently, please do hang in there as it's impossible to see what's actually going on inside our bodies. I hope you can soon be as delighted with your new JUDDD shape as I was this morning. |

FlossyLiz that is just exactly why I love JUDDD. The scales say one thing and our bodies say, "yeah, but look at this!"
You are living proof that this is the BEST ay to get out bodies bak on track. They will thank us for it. |

Flossy, that is a great realization, thank you for sharing! Visceral fat, begone!
I have something similar--since I've been back in WLM, I have tightened my belt one notch. This is big because the belt rides low on these jeans--low rise jeans, and the belt was snug on notch one. Now it's on notch two, which means that I've lost an inch or so in that belly fat that was still stubbornly hanging on. Nice progress and helpful since I'm at least a week away from being able to step on a scale that I trust to see what the weight is doing. And Carly, I've seen your pics, girl, and you ARE thin! Flat belly, I'm jealous! I have a jelly belly, but it's getting smaller! Forward and downward! edit: Oh, hilarious that my jelly belly links to the candy on this site! It's a down day, so my subconscious mind is going, yum, candy! I can have it tomorrow!

Wow, Flossy that is so incredible!! I've seen so many JB's saying that this WOE has actually reshaped their bodies! I have noticed my thighs slimming way down, and that is a phenomenon in itself! I've always kept my large thighs even when the rest of me went down in weight, so I can attest to a changing body shape. |

I have had a bunch of non-scale victories but never even think about them because I am one of those people who look at the scale and if I don't see a lower number then I failed
But every once in a while I remember that the numbers don't tell the whole story! I have been wearing a few sweaters from my closet and one is so big that I can almost wrap it around me twice!! I wore it to my TOPS meeting and I think I looked like a bag lady because it was so big! I need smaller sweaters!! Also, on my DD Thursday I had to walk by a plate of my favorite black and white cookies at work. I saw them at least 3 times that day but I never even considered having one. A few months ago I probably would have taken 2...just because they were there and free LOL I just read a quote that said, "Little by little becomes a LOT" and I think this is true for me. I just have to keep looking at the little victories which will lead to my big victory...GOAL!
