Hmmm, hungry this morning, which is new for me on a DD. Wonder if I didn't get high enough on UD. (first time I didn't count)

Just coffee so far. Out with DH Christmas shopping today so will see if I need to eat at all. He's actually trying to drop some weight (insert rolling eyes here) so might just stay with liquids today. I have wendy's chili or a skinny peppermint mocha in my mind as options if I need something later. Otherwise, lots of sobe water! :)

Melissa, you can do it!!!

Trying PirateJenny's advice to eat small meals throughout the day to keep blood sugar from dropping too low.

B: 2 turkey sausage links, 2 cups coffee with half n half (145 calories)
L: big salad with 2 tspn champagne pear dressing, one hard boiled egg (130 calories)
D: egg drop soup (100 calories)
Late night snack: Baked zucchinni chips: 100 calories

Amazing how much food you can actually get for under 500 calories!

Oh oh oh! I found something AHMazing for down days! It's a veggie and fruit puree pouch (i know this is like baby food but whatev) it's got pumpkin, carrot and apples and it's SOOO yum! only 60 calories for the whole pouch. it's so good! :) i'm replacing a pouch for the banana. :)

Egg day for me. 4 HB eggs spaced throughout the day. Maybe a scrambled egg tonight if I am starving. so 310 -390 cals total.

AsmallerME 12-13-2012 11:14 AM

B: coffee w/ an atkins shake (145 total)
L: slice of quiche (guessing 400ish) - I made it a few days ago and didn't measure any ingredients
---
550ish

First DD in a LONG time is going well. Hunger is coming and going.

This is a MD for me to change rotations, but for now it's feeling like a DD - I'm saving calories for dinner tonight.

B: Coffee w/HWC & sweetener, 1.2 oz swiss cheese (stray piece I found in fridge this morning!)
L: 3 oz hard salami, diet root beer
D: spaghetti & meatballs w/Dreamfields pasta
D: maybe a little cup of cinnamon popcorn

Total: around 1350 calories

Jentastic 12-13-2012 12:24 PM

First day - a ton of water so far, I'm sure a ton more yet to come.

I had coffee with hwc for brekky and made a veggie soup for today. Had 1/2 for lunch, saving the rest for dinner. If all goes as planned I'm looking at 532 calories with 22 net carbs.

seaofsand 12-13-2012 01:04 PM

B - skipped
L - low calorie soup
D - more low calorie soup
S - strawberry Atkins shake

And probably some coffee later. I'm pretty tired today after several nights of little sleep.

This is, I guess, an "M" day for me, because it is really supposed to be a down day (after two Up days) but I have an office party to attend this evening. So I've done low calorie for breakfast and not so much so for lunch (trying to avoid getting to this party and scarfing down everything imaginable):

B: protein powder with unsweetened almond milk and kale (140)

L: 2 hard-boiled eggs with 1 Tbsp mayo (210)

D: party!

Going to try to avoid as much flour/sugar products as possible, since these really seem to set me off--bring on cravings during both that day and the next.

Hopefully I'll be able to complete a real Down day tomorrow, since I am off Saturday and Sunday and these will both be Up days.
