JUDDD and breast feeding

My friend interested in JUDDD but she is breast feeding. Can she safely do this diet normally, or would it need to be adjusted?

I think she could do it, I would use one of the higher maintenane level JUDDD calories from the calculator. If she is simply ravenous, adjust up more!

I read that you automatically burn a lot of calories when you are breast feeding. I'd be worried about only eating 500 calories, even every other day. A doctor's advice would be best, IMHO.

I agree with Cinds. I have heard that calories too low can affect milk production. I don't know if alternating lower/higher calories makes a difference, but I wouldn't do it without a doctor's ok.

She should really speak to her doctor and if she does start maybe start at maintence calorie for her current weight. But she should still speak with her MD.
