I got a very nice digital kitchen scale and a mandoline slicer.

Happy Hanukkah JUDD BUDD's!

We had a small Hanukkah party today, with lots and lots of cakes and chocolate gelt and potato pancakes. Since it's a DD for me I just had a mug of coffee and watched the kids enjoy knowing I'd be joining in tomorrow.

I'm traveling this week, and couldn't figure out if I wanted to try to do the candles here.

Today, I thought I'd try to McGuyver together a menorah LOL

I bought (what I thought were) small menorah candles, and then small binder clips to hold them up somehow.

The candles are thicker than I thought they'd be, but I think I can still make it work. Of course, I forgot to find matches

Anyway, I think I have to run out to Target (3rd time in a day's the charm, right?) so hopefully I'll get everything and light some candles tonight!
