Saxy - sometimes you just gotta put your foot down! I got so sick of being asked "have you set a date?" that I sat my fiance down and said "alright, thats it! Lets just pick a day and be done with it". If I had have known how far in advance you had to book things, I probably would have given myself more than 5 months to organise it all Start looking things now, you have time to your advantage!

Ok so for Acor and anyone else who wants a peak (oh, this is so exciting! I can't show anyone and you get to see!), this is it...

The pic doesn't do it justice. When I was browsing dresses online, I would never have looked at this one. But it has the most divine train, and delicate crystals placed perfectly on the lace. Use your imagination. P.S I will be having lace capped straps added to the top as I am not a fan of the strapless

Good idea to have straps - otherwise, as I've seen at the weddings I've visited, you'd spend most of the day hauling the darn top back up into place!

Totally stunning dress, I can just see it with the straps, even better. The lace looks really good quality too, sometimes it can look tacky but this is lovely.

I am so envious that you have picked a dress!! And a gorgeous one at that!I'm having the hardest time with the dress. This will be my second marriage, so I didn't want to do the whole uber fancy church wedding thing, so we decided on a small, private beach cerimony. But it is sooo hard finding a dress that's not too fancy, but actually looks like a wedding dress lol. I do have a current favorite, but I don't think it will let me post pics yet

Your dress is BEAUTIFUL! I got married in 2009 and had a similar dress experience (got one I wouldn't normally have picked in a photo, but it just worked). I loved going to the shop to try it on...I felt like such a princess. So cheeseball, I know.

naw.. you guys are so nice. I only have my sister as bridesmaid, and needed a little girly support. Thankyou

Reese - could you maybe buy a evening style dress and 'do it up' yourself? Maybe a satin beaded sash...... A veil and bouquet should help to make it more 'wedding-y" Good luck in your search and cant wait to see!

SICCHI- I have thought about that...I just wish I was more crafty. I've never been good at sewing or knitting or any of that stuff.
I'm really thinking about looking into some fancier sundresses (with sleeves of course ) And my wedding day will definately be an up day too...and the entire week after cause we are going on a cruise. I will have to do some serious JUDDDing when I get back to the real world
