that's actually hilarious because I don't really like to shop and my highly fashion conscious mother and sister threaten to nominate for the show What Not To Wear!

This just made my night. I'm so happy for you--way to go!!

And as a former New Yorker I have to give a nod to the wheeled cart in the corner.

Yes, New Yorker, born and bred and we actually have 2 carts. One is for laundry and one is for bringing groceries in and up and garbage down and out (is that a NY thing? I've never lived elsewhere.) Thought everyone had a cart or 2

Just in case? JUST IN CASE? No way, Carly.

I know exactly how you're feeling about that though. I have a few items out of my closet, folded up on a chair in my bedroom because I'm contemplating donating them. They're 3X, way too big, and now that I have JUDDD I know exactly how to get rid of any weight that creeps back on. But there's no way I'm going to let 77 pounds creep back on! So why can't I just let these items go? It's weird isn't it?

Yes, I know I have JUDDD, I'm just not quite ready...
I have to wear my rings on my middle fingers because I'm scared that if I have them sized it will be a jinx

Yep, the jinks factor. I know it well. It's like, this is all too good to be true, it can't last, I'll find a way to blow it, blah blah blah. Why do we do this to ourselves???

I think it's a "pedestrian" thing and there are very few places in the US where folks are pedestrians much of the time. I grew up in Florida, Arkansas, and New Orleans and never saw a wheeled cart until I moved to the Bronx for grad school. The sad thing is I remember taking laundry to the laundromat by walking in New Orleans and I used a real laundry basket bungeed to a luggage cart and capsized in the middle of the street many times. If only I had known!

Girl, donate those clothes. You will NOT be needing them!!!

Never had a cart. Also, never lived in an apartment with an elevator...small town life.

There are some street people with pilfered grocery shopping carts I see from time to time.

Maybe it's the apatment building/ elevator thing... it's the best way to trek stuff up and down to the cars or the laundry or put out the garbage since you have to ride up and down in the elevator with others.
I grew up living in a house (in NY) and we didn't have a wheely cart... hum...

Sadly, yes- quite a bit around the upper arms, upper thighs and stomach. I hid the arm skin well in that photo, but it's pretty bad. There are 2 inches of skin hanging below where my arm "should" end.

Adding to the "carts" subtopic: I don't drive. I always use a wheely cart for groceries, and have done so throughout adulthood. But I'm the only person I see in the grocery store who wheels in a cart, probably because I'm one of the few who stocks up for a week's food without driving a car to the store. (There are some who bike there, but they tend to just load up a backpack of groceries.)

And, BTW, Carly, you really do look gorgeous.
