Carly, I woke up worrying about you. Praying the test goes smoothly without residual pain. AND, praying you learn more about what is going on - which will be a help if the surgery question does get raised.

Thank you Nancy- the test is tomorrow, but today I have a very busy day at work so should be distracted. I couldn't sleep last night for some reason so at 3:25am i just stopped trying and have been having a quiet, relaxing morning.

Thank you my dear, dear JUDDD buds. I'm hanging here tonight- not thinking about it, will say a prayer before bed and one on the way to the hospital in the morning. I truly appriciate all your prayers- with all of those sent up it has to be managable.

It's amazing how one minute I am absolutely starving on a dd ...I think I'll never make it to my planned meal without stuffing something in my mouth. Then 15 minutes later the urgency has passed. Everyone who has said this is so right! It's almost time for my shirataki dinner .. and then another dd will be behind me!

This took me by surprise as well dipgal, I had never not eaten when I was hungry so I had no idea that it would pass.

I know we hear this a lot over in this forum (and I'm always so happy when I see someone else come to this realization), but I too had that same revelation earlier on in my JUDDD journey and it really took me by surprise. Believe me, it used to be even the thought of going without food for just a couple hours would break me out in cold sweat. I had to either have or bring extra food and snacks with me everywhere. I am insulin resistant and used to get frequent hypoglycemic symptoms so I felt I couldn't let myself get hungry, ever.

Well, JUDDD proved me wrong. Granted, I still do eat mostly low carb due to various health issues, but I'm not obsessive about it. I learned that hunger is most definitely not an emergency, and have a much healthier relationship with food now for the first time in my life. What's not to love?

So glad you're doing well, Judy.

Oh yes!! This is exactly what I love about JUDDD! It has taught me that eating is not an emergency and nothing will happen if I don't eat for a day! It really has taught me what hunger really feels like and get in touch with my body much more!!
