I'm paying special attention in Dec too. Right now, my bounce range is 124-126 (although I actually haven't seen 124 in quite some time). I'm almost always 125 after a dd, and 126 after an UD, unless it's a special feast, and then I can see 128 or so.
Would love to not see those numbers over 125, but even when I've been extra careful with wl level dd's for a week, I don't go below that. But I do NOT want to end up through the holidays with that range set in the upper 120's. December will be all about holding the line, and maybe working in these first 2 weeks or so to lose a couple of 'cushion pounds'.

I'm going to make a december goal to stay as close to 130 as I can and not go over 135 so basically maintain. My goal in January will be to say goodbye to the 130s. I thought of trying to do that in December but then I my make the holidays more miserable than I need to. It really seems like its going to take some strict UDs and DDs because I've only been below 130 a few times.

I am so happy that December has started as November was not going in the right direction for me weight wise! Last night I had the most amazing selection of potato chips thanks to my son's party and my planning. I am not sure where my head is at lately (other than in the potato chip bowl
). I haven't wanted to eat my weight in chips since the early days of JUDDD. I am happy to be back in WLM this month to get my perspective back. It is also so nice to have a great plan that works and great support from all of you here!

This will be WLM for me too! The scale is not always my friend
![]() I want to start the new year between 110-114. This past month I saw 112 one time, but I did see too many 115! When I hit 115 I feel it is all in the tummy I feel like my tummy is holding pounds of butter then ![]() I will go figure my calories for the UD & DD and post those later! I too am working on maintaining this month. Doing the potato hack for four days, if I don't have a negative reaction. Waffle-cut baked fries, here I come! LOL
Then I will go back to regular JUDDD. I have been experimenting with calorie levels and can pretty easily stay where I am if I do 600-800 DD and 1600-1800 UD. But I sure would like a little cush. I am about 3 pounds heavier than I want to see, and 6 pounds above my low after my last round. I would love it if I could be back there. But just not.to.gain is really my goal. Going wheat-free will certainly help me avoid the Christmas cookies at grama's house! LOL Loving my holiday-flavored teas, those are helping me big time! And I add protein powder to them, and some additional spices, faux eggnog!

Count me in. This fall's lesson: beware hubris. (insert many swear words)
I haven't been weighing. I don't like being tied to it, and I thought I could trust my pants. When they get a bit tight, I think, just do the rotations and you'll be okay. Weighed this morning in the interest of potato hack results and almost fainted. Looks like I am not done with daily accountability. Goal for December: back to my maintenance number. (insert more swearing) Okay, done with the swearing. Funny, the way my behaviours can slide a bit when I'm not checking. And it's no wonder. This is my first half year of good habits after forty years (plus) of lousy habits. Glad to be here today. ![]() ![]()

I suspect those of us who have traveled the path of weight loss (and many who have never needed to) must be prepared to live lives of daily accountability. Dang it. |

Barb, I had a potato chip attack on Friday too but they weren't under my nose tempting me, I had to send DH out at 10pm to buy me some!

I may want to jump in with tightening up and going into wlm for this month as well, if only because I just really want the low end of my maintenance range right now to be my high bounce come January. It may take me a lot longer than this month though, as it took me about 4-5 months to lose my last 2 lbs and get to goal, which is why I'm still debating. It seems like it wouldn't be all that difficult to lose 2-3 lbs, but it just doesn't seem to work that way on my body.

I just went to Dr. J's web site to get my calories for this month. I went with 110# and 35 % and came up with 1515 UD and 530 DD. I hope to stay very close to these numbers for December
I want to start 2013 without the News Thing being - To Lose Weight! It will be the first time I have not had that on my "to do" list! ![]() Leona

I promised DH I was going to quit trying to lose--he thinks I'm looking too thin. But I'm feeling pudgy. Still no scale so I'm going on my size 13 low-rise jeans, they're a bit too snug and there's a bit of muffin top there. Blugh.
So my plan is this. Nice low down days (nothing but tea with milk until dinnertime, then something light) and get back into Callanetics to tighten up and tone. I'm still not counting or weighing and that's a challenge, but it is what it is. I, too, am looking forward to the first New Year's Day when my resolution is not to lose weight, for the first time since probably age 15. What a gift.
