Don't want to start a new thread, but since is the daily weigh in, I just want to say that I'm tired of bouncing up to only 3.8 lbs less than when I started 5 weeks ago today. I've only myself to blame, and I don't need to know why. I can guess it's because of over-eating. I feel like I've tried more than I ever have on any diet this time with JUDDD, but still don't have what it takes...Hopefully, tomorrow I will be re-energized. I'm trying not to get discouraged.

Hang in there! I know it'll get better. The way I'm trying to keep my spirits up is to remember that right now, with all this holiday food and overeating I'm doing, I'd normally be gaining. So even if you're not losing, at least it's not going in the wrong direction?

I agree with deedee!

Keep your head up Cindy! I had a goal of losing in December, but with all the food, holiday celebrations.. I know its not realistic. Have a goal of maintaining for December -- and then strict rotations for January! Don't be discouraged, you are doing great! Just coming to this board and even trying is something to be proud of!

As well, try only weighing after DD. That worked really well for me when I started because the bounce can be discouraging. I am also going back to only weighing after DD for that exact reason.

Just to add, I had a bad "diet" week last week- started christmas baking, had a birthday in the house & generally found it all too hard. Once I scrapped my weight loss goal for the month & decided to maintain around my numbers, it took a load of pressure off and stopped the out of control cycle.

We expect a lot of ourselves but we need to give ourselves a break too And I'm already sensing great enthusiasm for really getting to grips with JUDDD in Jan- can't wait, the board will be hopping!!!

Well I am back from my hols and feel like I have put on loads!! DD today and will weigh in tomorrow....finished Nov at 226 so would like to get to 220 in Dec. Would love to get to 219 really but dont know how achievable that will be with Christmas!

Plan for month was to get back to my low of 223 and then maintain for the month. I have had way too many UDs (or UUADs!) but really not doing that badly! I am managing at least 2 DDs a week which is keeping me within reach of my low weight. I think that with Christmas week coming up and being off work for 2 weeks I am likely to end the month up a few pounds. The great thing about JUDDD is that it all feels very controlled - that I am making choices both good & bad rather than being pulled along by food! Staying LC most of the time helps me.

I am happy to have lost 60 pounds this year but really need to get back to weight loss in the new year. Exercise regime has been not great for the last week due to work pressures but looking to get back this week.

12/01 - 224 UD (after a DD that turned into at best a MD)
12/02 - 227 UD
12/03 - 226.5 UD (dinner out for work!)
12/07 - 231 DD (Dinner out for work / pleasure twice this week)
12/08 - 227 UD
12/09 - 228 UD
12/13 - 226 DD
12/14 - 224 UD
12/15 - 226 UD (not too bad considering I went out to dinner and had carbs!)
12/17 - 226.5 DD (not bad considering I had carbs)

After yesterday's DD turned into an MD I hope to get back on track. Finished november at 49.5Kg (108.9lbs). Goal is to weigh less by the end of the month (if the Christmas holliday, my bday and NYE allow me to!).
