I am little late to the party. Re-starting JUDD again with 3 DD a week and 500-800 cal on DD.

(((HUGS))) So sorry that you're struggling so much. I was trying to remember what kind of rotations, etc. that you have been doing. Did you do L/C, potato hack, FF, etc.? If you didn't...disregard this next part...perhaps your body is confused about what it is supposed to be doing. Sometimes it needs to catch up to all the changes...just a thought Maybe getting back to JUDDD protocol rotations will get you back to normal losing again...you did well in the beginning, right?

Again...so sorry! You'll find your groove again!!!!

I know, it stinks when you get up in the morning and go hopefully to the scale and it's going the wrong way!

Just remember that you did lose six pounds in two and 1/2 weeks in November right through thanksgiving and everything. I know it feels like you're going in reverse right now, but JUDDD is really not like that. It's the bouncing ball and sometimes there are one or two weeks when the ball doesn't show a downward trend and then it does again. I'm glad you're going to keep trying/going ... I think you'll be really glad you did.

I have had a couple real rough days with this stinkin bladder infection. The antibiotics make my stomach hurt. My aunt told me if you drink alka selzer it helps with the pain. It bloated me to the point of my feet and legs were swelling. Good Grief Charlie Brown!!!!!!

Chris do you think the potato days are working better for you? I can't believe how fast you've been dropping. Good work! I might try a PDD tomorrow.

Decided to have a 2nd UD yesterday as was feeling pretty flat- wanted to get some iron into me. I've noticed the second half of my cycle taking alot out of me in the last 3 months- less energy, more irritable, less interested in 'doing'... sounds hormonal doesn't it? Anyway, feel much more like myself this morning so we'll see how it goes. Fingers crossed for DD energy, calm & motivation!

Well I am back from my hols and feel like I have put on loads!! DD today and will weigh in tomorrow....finished Nov at 226 so would like to get to 220 in Dec. Would love to get to 219 really but dont know how achievable that will be with Christmas!

Hi gang, one of the Maintainers who are going into WLM for this month. I have been seeing 128 too often in November.

My goal is to see 126 or under for most of the month. After my first Potato DD yesterday I weighed in at :

PDD = Potaoto Down Day, 300 cals

Dec 1 UD : 126
Dec 2 PDD : 128.2
Dec 3 UD : 126.4
Dec 4 PDD : 128
Dec 5 UD : 126.6
Dec 6 DD : 127.8 That was interesting I had 3 glasses of wine and one potato... not the way to get your 5 a day.
Dec 7 UD : 125 Different scales they always weigh a little lower.

I'm new (well.. not new.. i guess i could say 'back' but i never really posted before so... lol) and jumping in! I've decided my body really, really likes JUDDD. I'm mad I ever stopped, as my metabolism has been pretty messed up by all the things I've done. Hope I can join in on the fun!

So.. Starting weight! : 190.2 Goal for December: 179 (back into just overweight)

12/05 - DD - 190.2
12/06 - UD - 188.2
12/07 - DD - 187.6
12/08 - UD - 186.2
12/09 - DD - 186.8
12/10 - UD - 187.4 (after a DD? )

I think I am holding on to water, my fingers feel a little swollen. I'm hoping ill go back down after next DD. I'll enjoy my UD though!

Back when I used to get those infections, my doctor always had me drink cranberry juice.Goal for December is to have my highest bounce at 144.

It's so helpful to me to read your progress...I have been kinda stuck for the last four days..haven't seen any movement..but..I'm not using a digital scale..have to get a battery...the more that I see what happens with the upday/downday way of eating, the more inspired I am to stay with it....I know that I've ruined my own metabolism..and if it's ever going to be better then I need to stay with this...and I intend to..with other diets in the past, if I didn't see success in a couple of weeks..I would give up...but, as I see how people are staying with it and having success, maybe not five lbs a week...but good success..I know that it's the right thing for me to do...and someday that scale is going to move down.I guess it's a good thing it's not going up, and it's not..so..today I'm going to do the potato thing as a down day..

I'm sorry that I didn't explain the five lbs a week remark..I didn't mean that as a putdown, honestly...just thinking that way was the reason I always dieted before...thought I had to lose big numbers..and when I didn't , I would quit..so I have always been a quitter...until now....and now, I promise not to be a quitter...the success I see here on the boards is so impressive..and not just the good numbers, but the good attitude you all have..life is full of ups and downs, so why did I never understand that losing weight would be that way too?..maybe now I am finally getting it..

Hey jaymar! I completely understand the 5 pound remark. When you see people losing weight quickly by other methods, it's sometimes feels like, well that must be the right way to do it! But I think all weight loss slows down after some time. I've only been JUDDing for two weeks now, but so far it feels like a very liveable WOE. And the testimonials from long time JUDDers are incredibly powerful.
