Awesome accomplishment, Beverly. Thanks for being so frank about the reality of the journey. So beautifully expressed.

Excuse me, but WTH are you talking about, sister friend?

This is not, "Oh, you've slimmed down a little, you look great!"

This is not, "Lose 10% of your body weight and you might improve your health markers."

I'm sorry I'm shouting at you, but for you to minimize this amazing accomplishment makes me want to grab you by the shirt, smooch your nose, and shake you like a rag doll. A skinny little rag doll.

As far as I'm concerned you are an amazing poster child for JUDDD. You're an inspiration to me that I could even possibly lose that much weight some day, much less keep it off for a time. And everything you've described here is consistent with struggles I know I will face, too. Some of which, I am facing, in fact.

Many people think of JUDDD as dieting half the time, but keeping my up day calories low enough within range is actually dieting to a person who used to eat whatever she wanted in a given day. And let me say, that was quite a bit. I am not complaining because that is what I need to do, but keeping within my up day limits takes concerted effort and planning on my part. I don’t think I ever feel full. I can eat and eat and eat!
I can relate to this. There have been some awesome days on JUDDD when I have been too full to get in all my calories on an UD but those are not as common as UDs were I can go off the rails. If I plan my UDs, I can easily be satisfied. But planning is still dieting. What I love about JUDDD, however, is that if I am too busy and can't plan, it's not a disaster, as it has been on every other diet plan ever for me since the start of time.

Thanks to each and every one of you for your continued support. I have been on this board for many years and never really felt at home until joining the JB's. This group is the most supportive, kindest, happiest, genuine group of people. I love you all.

I wouldn't have made it through this far without all of you. Reading your posts keeps me on track and I have learned so much from the collective wisdom of all the JUDDD BUDDDs.

I printed out all of your responses to this thread because they lift me up in an incredibly wonderful way. I will refer to it to keep lifting me up when I stand on the scale and don't see a reward or I am having a particularly rough DD.

We all understand each other and share a common journey. It is so much more fun to be on that journey with others. Thanks so much.
