Eat This Not That: JUDD Edition
I don't know if anyone has read any of the Eat This Not That books, but they are fantastic resources for any dieter in general. I thought we could do an ETNT: JUDD edition, and for DD in particular.
For instance.... Eat Miracle Whip instead of Mayo. MW has 40cal per tbs while Mayo has 90cals per tbs. Eat turkey breast instead of chicken breast. Turkey breast has 88cal per 3oz while chicken breast has 140cal per 3oz serving. Any others? |

Trader Joes (TJs) has this Medditerranean Yogurt Dip that I use in my tuna. I still add mayo, but only half, and honestly, I don't think I need to. I just get scared about changing the way I make my tuna...weird, I know...
Anyway, it is 60 cals for 2 tbsp and nice and tangy. I bet I could use greek yogurt too (have seen people do that), but again, I'm skeeeeered.Pickles are a good thing to eat instead of potato chips - satisfy the crunch and salt urge that some people get (I'm a sweets gal, myself). "Nearly Naked" popcorn is also fantastic and I don't even really like popcorn. It is really delicious and non-GMO. Also, kale chips. You can make them yourself or buy them at TJs. I'm sure I'll think of more...with all the dieting and restricting ![]()

Coffee w/FF cocoa packet and one drop sweetener (30) instead of with 2T HWC (105). Just tried this this morning and YUMMMM! Thanks to Carly for the inspiration.
