DD Friday - post Thanksgiving, whatcha eatin?
Trying for maintenance cals this weekend but need to detox from all the food, especially sugar and carbs from my Thanksgiving indulgence.
B- half cup ff cottage cheese w a sf peach cup (115) L- might be an apple with some pb2 D - might be a salad topped w tuna salad S - low cal treat, maybe popcorn or a WW ice cream bar 850 cal target seems positively luxurious! |
I hear ya on the detoxing!
So far I've had a rice cake @5o calories Later today- soup x2 200 calories hot cocoa with whipped cream x2 70 calories (happy that I found a 15 calorie whipped cream-the kind in a can :yummy:) maybe a hard boiled egg tonight, but right now food sounds :sick: |
I have so far had:
1 cup of Bovril 10cals 50g shrimp 50g shrimp 65 cals altogether 1 small cup of cappuccino 65 cals Planning mushroom soup and some venison steak with carrots tonight. |
I'm trying to get back on the horse yet again and wanted today to be a post-Thanksgiving DD day but my mom that we are visiting from out of town decided we are having another Thanksgiving dinner today with more family. What the heck? Ugh mom you're killing me here. I already got a rude comment from one of her friends on how much weight I've gained since I was here last. I wish I could hide. I don't need comments from family too. :-( I am not sure how to handle this? Should I just eat very lightly today anyways and stick to the plan or make today a middle day and make tomorrows travel day a DD? How do you guys handle travel and holidays on this WOE? I'm too flexible maybe that's my problem...and why I always gain on vacations! Lol!

Not sure about my food for today. Just coffee so far. Going to try to fast as long as possible and just see how I feel later. I kind of like it this was so far. :)

Not had anything today but coffee and half/half w/splenda. Had 3(ish) cups, but poured out last half...so saying I've had 100 cals so far. :) Don't really have a plan for the rest of the day yet.

Still on my second mug of tea (lapsang/rose), had a large celery stick with a bit of Vegemite for breakfast. I think we'll be having soup for lunch and dinner.
I agree...food sounds all kinds of wrong right now. |
This is one of the first times I can honestly say I was looking forward to a DD. Yesterday was way over the top!

Not sticking to strict DD protocol today. Having some personal issues and all I could think about was getting drunk, lol, so I decided eating something would be a better option. I did not overdo it yesterday at all and had only one meal, so I am just going for a medium day but will not change rotations.

18 calories worth of diet Swiss miss in black coffee (which I never did finish)
Bedtime snack which will be soon: 3 Kim's Deli pops= 30 1 laughing Cow cheese light= 35 .5 ounce turkey pepperoni=35 1 snack pack of roast seaweed= 10 Total= 128 |
Ended up having about a half cup of potato salad, a slice of ham and a slice of cake. Probably will finish out at about 800 cals. Also had two glasses of wine, but not enough to get drunk, lol. Eating was definitely the right choice for me today.

B - coffee with HWC (50) L - protein shake (120) D - celery sticks, broth (15) total 185 and totally not hungry so I am going to bed now. |
B- coffee with creamer (30), green tea
L- tuna salad sandwich (250), cottage cheese (50) Snack- string cheese (70), diet swiss miss with 1/2 tbsp HWC (50) total= 450 Kinda got the munchies but too tired to care:laugh: |
