Well I won't say I don't have any wattle now, but it is entirely commensurate with my age and genes. It is 11 years since the surgery. I only once gained more than 10 lbs (12) so that has helped I am sure.

We should meet up one day, then you can inspect it?

I didn't think I was someone who would ever do this, but I realised that all the lines on my face I had earned, they were me, my character. There is no character in a wattle!

I have to say it was the best decision ever.

Other than that... today I was trying on my swimmies before my holiday and I am certain my inner thigh skin looks better this year. I think I may even wear shorts in Turkey (nobody knows me there, lol)
If you've ever watched Ally McBeal, then you know that Richard had a serious wattle fetish.

It would be utterly delightful to meet up but it will emphatically not be in order to inspect your wattle.

Yes he did - and Dyan Cannon was conspicuous for her almost complete absence of one, wasn't she? You've just reminded me to dig out my Vonda Shepard and Robert Downey Jr CD.

Well, to Richard's credit, his idea of the "perfect" wattle was Janet Reno's. I think she guess-starred once.

I totally loved that show, and that is where I adopted the term. I must check out Janet Reno.

We should make a date in the summer Slow!

I have, of course, had Tracy by the Cufflinks running through my head ever since being reminded about Ally McBeal - that and Tell Him. That theme song episode with Tracy Ullman was one of my favourites from the series.

Summer would be lovely for a get-together. Have a splendid time in Turkey and on the train trip to St. Petersburg.
