News Flash!!!!
Kale chips done perfectly! Same prep as posted earlier, then... 250 degrees for 25 minutes. Y.U.M. Hubby loved them too!! Crunchy like chips, no browning or bitterness. Lower temp tip came from Beeb's thread on Kale Chips. Thanks to all of you for helping whenever, however!! |

Truffles-- I don't use any oil
When I make a roast that needs a gravy, I do this too. Just pop them in the pan with the roasting thing (turkey, beef, whatever) and then puree the mushrooms, pan juices, and add extra broth till I get a gravy consistency. Then after the meal, I add more broth till I get a soup This time, I just did mushrooms on a tray (used parchment paper), roasted for 30 min I think at 375 or 400, they shrank quite a bit. I pureed with chicken stock and added some thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.
